Best Western Louisville South / Shepherdsville

This is my 3rd time staying here. Very convenient when visiting family. Always very friendly staff & very clean place. Highly recommend!

The hotel was nice with a nice full breakfast. The only disappointment was that we were told the first day that the pool was closed because it needed to be cleaned. We got back from our activities that day near the time for the pool to close and realized it had been reopened while we were gone. The next morning the kids wanted to swim but again it was closed and we were told that it still needed to be cleaned. We finally determined that the first shift people just didn’t want to open the pool, but when second shift got there they would open it. This wouldn’t be a huge deal but we cancelled a nearby hotel because their website said that their pool was closed, which is why we picked this one instead. It seemed like the first shift people were not being honest with us.

Stayed with several family members for a weekend wedding. Outdoor pool was fine, hot tub has been permanently closed.

Price,location, and Chris at the front desk were all great! Would definitely stay again with my family.

We enjoyed our 4 night anniversary stay & had no problems. The bed, room, shower & parking were good and the manager, (Midge) and front desk person, (Chris W.) were very nice and helpful. They seemed like family to us so it was even hard to say bye. The breakfast food and area were good also. We would definitely stay here again. :)

My stay at Best Western Shepherdsville was excellent! The front desk personnel were awesome and went out of their way to make sure my family and I were comfortable. The hotel offered hot breakfast every morning from 6am till 10am, and the location was very conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, gas stations, and the highway, and only 20 minutes from Churchill Downs.

Brought grandkids so they could use the pool which after repeated inquiries was told the pool was down because of new owners.
