Very disappointed that the pool was not open. My kids were looking forward to it and it was a big reason i had chosen this hotel over orhers.

Overall the hotel itself wasn’t bad. Upon check in, I wasn’t told the pool wasn’t open. I found that after I had three kids ready to swim so that was disappointing for all. The air conditioning wasn’t great in our room and even though I got a nonsmoking room, the smell of cigarettes was there especially when the ac kicked on. The pillows were just bad so my nights sleep was not good. Breakfast was okay but I would hope they get another waffle maker because there was a constant wait for it. I checked out a day early and booked a different hotel in the area.

I booked two rooms here for 4 adults and 4 kids to stay one night while we were coming home from vacation. We needed somewhere for the kids to swim and let loose some energy after a long day on the road. At check-in, we were so disappointed to learn that the pool was closed and bc of the Hotel.com deal we purchased, we were stuck there or would’ve lost the money we paid. I understand that pools break, but then management should’ve called people (especially those with kids) to alert them that the pool was broken and try to work out a cancellation on their behalf. We definitely wanted to stay at another hotel in town with a pool- there were plenty on the same street!!!

The room was good in size and space but we saw bugs and cockroaches by the refrigerator where the cabinet housing is because there was some rot in it plus the refrigerator is a bit under powered and there was no thermostat control in it so that we can make it colder. Food was good and servers were nice. The pool was regularly checked on by maintenance and it is a good thing so that the pool will always be safe to use. The hotel is being renovated and there was some solvent odors sipping from the rooms being renovated. Overall, it was a good stay because my kids enjoyed it. P.S. We left the Raid spray in the restroom.😬

Overall This was a quick stay, not a recommended hotel to spend the weekend or vacation week. The breakfast only thing they had was eggs & waffles. The Pool/Area needs to be worked on badly. The water had things floating in it as if someone just got done “doing the do” which my kids wanted to swim. Very terrible!! The update I feel should have been done long ago!

Had a child that was upset since the pool was closed. They qere refilling pool was one of main reason qe picked so he would have something to do in evening once we returned. Everything was nice and clean. Lots of choices for breakfast.

from the moment I checked my family into the two (2) rooms I booked, the manger on duty was very polite and assisted me by placing us in "adjoining rooms," which was what I was going to ask to be done but he was insightful enough to my needs and took care of it! He also went the extra mile and gave my grandchildren some complimentary "ice cream" which they enjoyed very much! I will always choose to use this establishment when traveling to Louisville, Ky over the other hotels in that area.

We needed a place to stay while visiting family in the area. This hotel was conveniently located and reasonably priced. The manager was courteous and professional. She was eager to please too. When she asked enough questions to understand that a member of my family was limited in mobility she found us a ground floor room near a parking space and entry. The room was spacious and entirely met our needs. We have found that Comfort Inns & Suites are always a good value for our family and for my personal business travel.
