Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Bardstown

Very clean and welcoming. Suite gave a family of four room to move about more. Nice indoor pool. Housekeeping staff very responsive to our requests. All employees very helpful.

Small pool filled with loud unsupervised children.

Booked room for 1 overnight stay. We live 10 min from hotel but wanted to take kids swimming and have a fun night close to home. Hotel was mostly occupied by a boys football team from out of town. Needless to stay, the hotel was trashed, tried to swim but pool area was flooded in areas with nasty water and the pool water it’s self was disgusting. Went back to room to order pizza and watch movies. Pulled out couch bed and it had stains and hair all over it. Tried to get a refund but couldn’t since we made reservations thru Expedia. We ended up leaving and not staying the night. Terrible experience unfortunately. Wasn’t hotels fault but wasn’t handled in a way we felt was fair. No one was at the front desk the several times we tried to talk to someone about the issues so we called from the room to explain and checked out shortly after that.

Very clean. Good breakfast. Wish the pool was bigger but my kids enjoyed it anyway.
