La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bardstown

Loved this hotel! While i was a little nervous traveling by myself with my 2 kids, this hotel was perfect for the 3 of us! I felt safe here. Location was easy to get to. Free EV parking, so i could charge my car right in the parking lot. Staff was so friendly and helpful. They made me multiple keys when i accidentally locked my keys in the room. They let us change rooms when the tv wasn't working. They even froze my water bottles for me so i could have ice packs for my cooler at the ball games. Top notch! Also we enjoyed the free breakfast every day! Waffles, sausage, potatoes, fruit, cereal, biscuits and gravy, etc. Room was great too. Comfy beds and had everything we needed. Pool was a little small, but it was never too busy, so worked for us! Also had a workout room! Overall great stay!! Would definitely recommend!

Excellent and friendly staff, nice pool for the kids, room and entire facility were very clean.

Booked my room on line with "Hotels.com". They messed up my room by putting me in a "Hearing Room" which I had never heard of before. The lady at the Desk said they seem to do that a lot and all the "Hearing Rooms" start on the second floor. I had specifically requested a First Floor Room. Your people said they could not change it because it was a Third Party Reservation. When I finally got to my room on the second floor the TV did not work so they put me in the room next door. That night the family in the room above me on the next floor must have had 6 kids and a trampoline because they were bouncing off the walls until late. The next morning the Continental Breakfast was good; it was also good the next morning. The Staff was gracious and helpful. I felt the room was a little pricy. I think if a Third Party is going to book rooms for you - you should have the right to make your Guest pleased with the room for which they have paid.

Check in was easy booked online and felt rate was great compared to local businesses. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was cold but kids enjoyed it. Breakfast and service was amazing

We did not like pool temperature set at 76, which made it basically unusable. Our young kids could not stay in for more than a few minutes and the adults could not get in past our knees on the steps. The front desk gave an unbelievable reason that it was due to bacteria growth, and would not adjust the temperature. The reason why we chose this hotel is for the pool. Our Google review will reflect this disappointment.

Was clean and that’s the most important thing to me, but the walls are very thin. Room next to us alarm went off for 45 minutes at 4:30am before they turned it off. Beds are hard wilhich is to my liking but the ac is very lacking. 65 setting is more like 73. Breakfast was average but they didn’t have forks or knives. Hard for 2 children with me to eat waffles with just a spoon, and the woman working the breakfast area was sorta rude about it. The woman who checked us in and out was great. She was very nice. Would stay at again but it is a little pricey for what it is.

Delightfully new, comfortable and accessible place to stay with the family.
