Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Ashland

Arrived at this location with television not working in room. Hotel representative worked on television for a hour and still could not get it working. In addition starting at 9:00 at night kids continued to run down hallways for a hour and a half. Called front desk three times about this noise and nothing was done about it.

Was in town for a youth baseball tournament, the worker on duty closed th pool while the team was there then opened it while we were leaving We play many weekends in the area but this place lost our 15 family team’s business

I booked Fairfield Ashland by mistake for my wife and her mom who just finished radiation therapy for breast cancer; they were going to see their new grand baby; when they arrived at Fairfield Huntington and there was no reservation booked, it was discovered that the wrong Fairfield Inn was booked, the pictures were identical for the hotels. Huntington called Ashland and the desk person was told there would be no problem with a refund since the mistake was honest. Fairfield Ashland has refused the refund.

The front clerk didn’t want to get out of her seat and do anything. She was rude. We told her someone was smoking marijuana in a room by ours, as it was floating down the hallway. Her reply was “Well, if you find out who it is, let me know.” The remotes didn’t work properly. The bathroom was dirty and barely had any toilet paper. I asked for an extra pillow, as I have a congenital spine disease, and the extra pillow helps for between my knees on firm beds. I was told they only had enough pillows for each room. The noise up and down the halls and children running was ridiculous. A couple was there for their honeymoon and had similar complaints. The next morning, at 8am, housekeeping was trying to open my door, though I had a “do not disturb” sign on it. Luckily, I had the latch thrown or she’d have come in, and I was in the shower. Check out wasn’t until noon. I will NEVER stay there again.
