Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Huntington

Very nice one night stay to attend a family wedding in Huntington. Loved the view of the hills from our room!

Overall stay was great. Service was outstanding. Hotel has a nice patio with a view of downtown Huntington. Hotel appeared to be new and updated. Walk-in shower was roomy. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. One negative was room above us was very noisy. We could hear what sounded like children jumping and banging around. Also, while the overall cleanliness of our room was great, there was some kind of substance on the walls and door in a few places that looked like blood. I don’t want to make too big a deal of it, as I was able to clean it myself with some wet paper towels. It wasn’t a large amount and I can see how it might have been missed by cleaning staff. Still, the amount of blood acceptable in the room should be zero. Overall stay was great and we will for sure stay here again.

Nice hotel, I was traveling with my husband and our two children. The staff were very prompt and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay agian if I were to be in the area agian.

Comfy, clean room. Beautiful view outside in the seating area and a nice gym and breakfast. It was mostly quiet besides the girls nextdoor to us... But kids will be kids! The lady stocking and cleaning the breakfast area was amazingly efficient and friendly. Overall, great stay and loved the view from outside!

Very pleasant staff, room was clean but couldn't control AC & room was very chilly. Repairs/maintenance was needed in the room but overall it was very nice. Biggest complaint was the breakfast hours and breakdown. Breakfast only served till 9 a.m. and it was taken away at 9 a.m. exactly, even though a mother with several young children was trying to get it for her family. I felt horrible especially when she hurried over to grab fruit off the cart as the worker took it to the back. The worker never offered to give the mother (or anyone else) a few minutes to grab what they needed. Could have been handled much better!

We reserved 2 rooms for a family trip and we’re able to be next to each other. One room was definitely in better shape than the other. One room had a non-functioning refrigerator, an entry door that was hard to open because it dragged on the carpet and a bathroom door that did the same on the tile. Overall seemed clean but a little dusty in some places. The breakfast buffet lady was a bit short and not friendly at all, however it didn’t affect our stay in the least, honestly. Overall a good place to stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean, smelled amazing, and was family friendly, the included breakfast was tasty and offered a nice variety. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Nice and new hotel off the beaten path. It’s perched up on a hill will a nice view off their patio. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Indoor pool was cold. That was disappointing as I have two kids who love to swim. This is usually one of our top reasons for choosing a hotel to stay.

We have found our favorite stopping place on our 11 hour trip to visit grandchildren. The check-in and check-out routine is so easy and smooth. Everyone is so friendly. Although we were immediately retired to our room, the pool looked inviting. Maybe next time, we'll plan to do a little swimming. Beds, room and entire building were comfortable.
