I requested a room for 5 with a bathtub, due to having children. Was not informed until i checked in that evening that the room i was aupposed to have was extended by the previous person.

Great hotel for families! Pool was cold though!

I love this hotel! We visit often as a "staycation" for our family of special needs children. The pool is amazing and only goes as deep as 5 ft (a plus for me since i cant swim), the rooms are very nice, and the free hot breakfast is amazing! The waffle bar is the best! Very friendly and helpful staff. 10 out of 10!

Our family enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and comfortable. The location is close enough to all of the activities we planned. Everything was in working order and the kids loved the pool, which was well maintained. The only reason we cannot give 5 starts: my son found a moldy rotten apple under the bed and we found a toy in the room left by a previous guest.

Only stayed one night but it’s kid friendly and highly recommended. Great options for morning breakfast. Room was nice and beds are comfortable

I made the mistake of booking the room with no refund. The family member I was going to visit at KU med got moved to a different facility so I had not use for the room, but could not get a refund.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This the first hotel that we've stayed at where we didn't have to ask for more towels. We're a family of six, so that was a huge plus.

We stayed for four nights as our family vacation this year. It was a good location for the main things we wanted to do (Royals game, Worlds of Fun and the WW1 Museum). We asked for housekeeping mid-week but they never made it in (maybe we requested it too late in the day?), but we were able to get extra towels as needed. My biggest complaint, which isn't even a big deal is the lighting in the bathroom. There were dim lights around the mirror and a very bright light in the shower area (which was nice), but the mirror was difficult to apply makeup with for me. Again, not a huge deal - would for sure use this location again if the need arose. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful! The pool area was clean and relaxing.
