Homewood Suites by Hilton Kansas City Speedway

For the most part our stay here was good. Rooms are spacious, hotel was pretty quiet even though it was full, desk staff were very friendly and location was great! Only a couple of things that need to be addressed: 1. The ceiling fans in the rooms need to be cleaned! It’s awesome that they are there but we didn’t turn ours on because it was so dirty that I didn’t want to the dust flying around the room. 2. Breakfast: when we went down to breakfast about 8:00 there was no food and no regular coffee. They were working on getting everything restocked but there were a lot of people waiting so we decided to go elsewhere. However, while waiting on some other family members to get downstairs my granddaughter got some fruit to tide her over. As she was eating a strawberry, a live worm came out of the strawberry as she was putting it in her mouth! Disgusting! I know it happens but do a better job of washing the fruit! Also, there’s no juice of any kind. Coffee, milk and water only. 50/50 on whether we would stay here again.

Over all it was ok! It was so noisy with kids running up and down the halls all day and nigh and handicaps parking was used up by none handicaps! Sad to see. So we had to walk a distance! But rooms was nice and clean!

Overall it was a decent stay. I, personally, didn’t enjoy the breakfast options (my kids enjoyed the waffles) and the breakfast area had gnats and flies. The comfort of the beds were just ok. The room was nice and spacious and the hotel itself was aesthetically appealing.

Facility is great and rooms very spacious. We had a family of 4 kids and disappointed in the indoor pool. The temperature of the pool was ice cold. When we inquired at the front desk they were not helpful nor did anyone offer to reduce our rate.

Having two separate rooms was fantastic so we could put kids to bed at different times. It truly was a bedroom separated by a regular door. And the front desk was friendly and helpful when we had a minor question. My only disappointment were the TV options. We booked for a fun family getaway so we planned to explore KC but crash at the hotel for swimming and shows with the kids. The only option was regular programming (no subscription capability), but the TV guide channel listed every channel as "no information available". We were stuck with old-school channel surfing. That's definitely unusual for kids these days. Ha! But it made it hard to find something for us to sit together and watch for our winter family stay. The boys all enjoyed the pool!!

The walls are paper thin. You will hear everything, from young children to alarm clocks. The staff seamed bothered when we arrived. But the property was very clean.

Very clean and wonderful amenities. They had a basketball court and a pool which kept the younger parties of our family entertained.

It was ok, but kind of a strange lay out of a room with the kitchen and desk and everything. Our room had a conjoined room with a door between but we didn’t know who was in the next room, except guessed they were older kids in their own room because they were very loud. If they were with parents it would’ve made more sense for the parents to be in our room that conjoined. If the parents were in the room with them then they were inconsiderate with their kids being so loud, yelling and thumping on the wall. Otherwise it was pretty clean and breakfast was ok.

Love the spaced room and rhe mini kitchen 😍 love it when traveling with kids is perfect my kids enjoy the pool so much and the morning breakfast was delicious thank you for everything.

Our family of five loved this hotel! The room was spacious and included a ceiling fan for added comfort. The bedding for the sofa bed was in the room and clean (we didn’t have to make a special request). There were non-down pillows in the room for those who have an allergy. We loved how much space we had for the kids to get out their energy and for all of us to eat dinner.
