We are a family of five, so we always need a suite. This place was perfect. Plenty of room, very clean, the staff at breakfast are amazing and its a great location. We forgot two items in the closet that were never found, but that doesn’t change my rating. Desk staff incredibly helpful and professional. We will definitely stay here for the rest of our visits.

Suite was spacious with plenty of room for our family of five. Breakfast had the standard hotel fare but the ladies working in, crushed it. Hardest working pair in the city. They kept the food coming, cleaned tables and kept the place the cleanest i have ever seen. They deserve a raise for that thankless job. Entire place is very clean and each employee was very helpful, professional and kind. I highly recommend and its also in a great location.

Great place to stay with our family. Mostly if we go out of town we are all sleeping in one big room or the kids sleeping together on the pull out couch. They have a 2br/2bath suite which was perfect for our family. The kids each had their own bed and mom and dad had their own room as well. If you’re tired of paying for all the extra fees with Airbnb’s this is a great alternative for families with older kids. The pool was nice. The breakfast in the morning was decent. It was a great location and we will definitely be back.

The hotel is fantastic. Everything was great, except the pool temperature. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and the pool has been FREEZING both times we have stayed. As much as we LOVE this hotel, if we want to swim with our young kids, we may switch hotels in Des Moines. I really hope that they can get this fixed.

The folks at the front desk are always pleasant and helpful. For the most part, the rooms are comfortable and clean. However, my most recent stay included an opened can of booze from the previous guests sitting next to a sofa, which housekeeping apparently didn't see -but my toddler did and knocked it over. Some potato chips were found on the bathroom floor. Not to be outdone by what appeared to be a makeup face print on one of the interior windows.... I'm probably missing something, but for $500 I expect a lot better. Airbnb in DSM next time for sure.

Some good restaurants within walking distance, close to downtown, close to interstate, short drive to the fairgrounds. Great for a family with suite with kitchen, pool, and great free breakfast.

The room was not cleaned fully when my brother check in for me he noticed and tag that had some sort of brown hard gunk on it When we asked about a toddler bed the gal at the desk told us that the only ONE they had was in use Also the wait for the waffle maker for breakfast was crazy would recommend getting a 2nd one or have other options

We really liked this motel and it's location once we caught on to the key cards and parking garage (the key card has to touch the scanner not just be waved in front of it) (the parking garage is shared with the apartments next door and the elevator takes you to the apartment - no one explained that you have to go down the ramp on the bottom floor of the parking garage to get to the motel). We were happy to have a 2 bedroom suite which works so much better for our family. We took a small walk around the area which was scenic, great vibe and felt safe. Nice restaurant really close by (Iowa Taproom). Please be sure to explain to people checking in about the parking garage!!!!!
