My Place Hotel - Council Bluffs/Omaha East, IA

Me and my family usually always stay here. This was the first time that they actually had a room in a long time.

It was super nice of the front desk put us in a room near the pool, seeing as we had kids with us. She also gave us information on holiday celebrations happening nearby. When we first entered the room, it looked clean in all the important areas. I did notice some dirty spots on the wall next to the bathroom, opposite the kitchenette. While my son and I thought the room had an odd cigarette odor, like it used to allow smoking and even though it was cleaned the scent never fully left. My husband didn’t think it smelled like cigarettes, so take that how you want. The pool area, while small was clean. Overall, we would give them another chance.

Highly friendly staff! The lady was awesome at sharing great places to visit and traveling directions!They treated us so well. Hotel room was very well maintained and clean. Great for stays with kids. Only complaint is beds were a bit too firm for our likings but for the price we paid its acceptable. Would recommend and stay again.

room was good, but walls and ceiling are very thin you could hear ever stomp and foot fall in room above, kids running down the halls, hear every door closing, air conditioner was inconsistent

Part of a 15 day family road trip. Very dirty, stunk, pool was disgusting with way too many chemicals. Burned both of our kids eyes.

We stayed with my family for 3 nights. The staff were super friendly, greeted us with a smiley face. The rooms were loud from other people running around. The only thing we didn’t like was that we didn’t get room service at all while we stayed even though we mentioned it to them.

Solid no frills hotel on the cheaper end. Staff were fantastic, rooms were comfortable and clean, and it wasn’t ridiculously expensive. No free breakfast but there is coffee available for free and breakfast available for purchase that weren’t overpriced. Please note that you’ll be able to book this as a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) but there is not a pull out couch or roll away bed. Didn’t bother us as our kids are smaller but could make for a tight fit for others. Would definitely stay again.

The pool was wonderful for my children. The kitchenette was perfect for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable and the receptionist was very helpful! (Her name was Ashley)!

Traveling with a pet and a family. Love that the room was clean and easy check in.

Great hotel for long stays. Not as clean as I would have liked. Built up dust on the bathroom vent and around light switches, etc. The space, table, and kitchenette were great for traveling with kids.
