Sleep Inn & Suites Ames near ISU Campus

Very convenient to where our family lives. Cleaning staff was wonderful! Would stay here again

The room was nice, and staff was friendly. However, the adjoining room was full of unsupervised young kids who kept us awake until 3:00 am when the parents came back from the bar. We complained, as did others, but the problem was not resolved. The next day we asked to be moved to another part of the hotel because the same people had the room for another night. It seemed like there should have been some compensation for a sleepless night.

Very comfortable room. Slept well on the beds/pillows. Tasteful decor. Appreciated that there was a refrigerator. While the pool area is clean, it is very small. With two kids it was fine, but could be crowded fast if more families were there. Good restaurant within walking distance. Convenient to the highway.

This hotel and management is absolutely horrible. We stayed in 3 different rooms on our 3 night stay. One room had glitter everywhere with a black line on the tv, second room was fine but they made us move after a reservation error on their part. Our 3rd room was fine until we took and shower, which was broken, water went everywhere. Our family stayed in the room next to us and the hair dryer caught on fire. The pool was ok but so much chlorine you could barely breathe. Clearly college kids have stayed and partied here and the hotel does not bother to fix anything. I will never ever stay here again and I strongly advise no one else does either.
