We only stayed for one night due to moving our child into her college dorm. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. Very clean hotel from the entrance throughout the lobby and hallway. Also a very clean and comfortable eco friendly room. I’ll be sure to rebook here for future trips to visit my child while she’s a resident at ISU

The hotel was very modern and new. Hotel rooms are huge. Very clean. Quiet - couldn’t hear anyone in hallways or above or below us. Breakfast lots of options .. make your own waffles, cereal and granola station w oatmeal, sausage and biscuits, fruit and coffee, etc. However, out of the 2 kids and 2 adults … beds too hard and uncomfortable…. And that’s the main part of any hotel… I can do w smaller breakfast and less decor or smaller room to have a GREAT BED! We were in town for a graduation and we were exhausted the next day like zombies

Newer property - so everything looks clean and modern. Great breakfast and common areas. Really small pool but good enough for kids.

Room was not clean. Huge urine stain on the pullout trundle bed. Who knows the last time that bed was cleaned. I have pics. Hair was on the shower walls and the pillows smelled like body odor. My whole family left with bugbites. Great room setup but just unsanitary. When we left, the janitor was mopping the hallways and we almost slipped when we left. No, wet signs in sight, and he wasnt event covering the entire hallway with cleaner just gapped zigzags... terrible job. Missed breakfast because the rooms stated breakfast ends at 10am, but when we went out there, signs said 930am. Overall, 2 out of 10. I own a commercial cleaning business and management ought to be ashamed and condemn their unsanitary cleaning practices. I demand a refund honestly due to this experience. Staff offered to move us but it was already 11pm when we found this huge urine stain. Theres no excuses for this level of half assed cleaning. It puts guests at risk.

After paying what we thought was kind of a crazy price for a one night stay, after check in they told us the pool was closed. We have two little kids so they were GREATLY disappointed. The room was big and spacious, but we kept getting big black hairs on our socks and clothes. We all have blonde hair, so the floor was not cleaned before us. The bathroom floor in the corners were not cleaned, but overall it was alright. The breakfast was great and the staff person doing breakfast was really really sweet. I don’t think I would stay here again when we go through town.

The hotel is very clean and has great fresh continental breakfast. The breakfast includes eggs, ham, biscuits, gravy and a variety of cereals, oatmeal, yogurts and juices. I stayed in a double Queen beds with a pull out sofa bed which is very comfortable. The room had a microwave and mini fridge. My elderly mother loved the comfort of the queen bed and my children slept well on the sofa bed. Large tv affiliated to the wall and a bathtub not just a shower!

This is an excellent hotel! The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was extremely friendly, and the breakfast offered many options for the whole family and was well attended to by staff.

Hotel is very clean - both lobby and rooms. The rooms are the most spacious you can find in Ames. We love staying there for that matter. The only reason for not rating it a complete 5 stars is that in the morning a family with young children had their kids running around and I could hear it in my room. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay and worth the cost.
