Holiday Inn Chicago Northwest-Elgin, an IHG Hotel

Check in was friendly and efficient. Queen suite was just perfect for us and our two grandchildren. Dinner at Bennigan’s was very nice. Our server (Eddy?) was great and very nice to the kids. Thanks.

We were in town for a family wedding. The hotel was easy to find uaing the link provided for directions via gps. Check in was efficient. The room was plenty large for two people. The bathroom had a big vanity and a tub/shower that was easy to use providing plenty of hot water. The shower head sprayed evenly for a relaxing shower. I appreciated the Dove brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and bar soap. The bed was comfortable with the commonly found white linens. My husband commented that the pillows were too puffy for him. Overall, a nice place that I would choose again!

Great stay with the family. Loved Bennigans on site and the pool and hot tub were the best!!!

It was a great little night stay with family. Only complaint was the pool was a little chilly according to my children

Didn't like the children having access to the hot tub.

The property itself was clean, the price we paid for the suite was not worth it when more then half of the jacuzzi jets did not work, the pull out sofa bed had springs poking through the mattress that scraped my child’s leg when she was sleeping. I asked for a replacement mattress for the second night as I was booked and already paid for two nights in the suite but was told they did not have one so my children slept on the floor. I asked for a discounted rate for my child’s injury and was told no that they would give me points towards my stay. The price for the breakfast was not worth it either not many options and it’s the same breakfast you would get free at other holiday inns. We will not stay next time we come due to the rudeness of the staff when asking for my room to be discounted because of all of the issues we had.

My family lives less than a mile away. Front desk was very helpfull with all our needs. One of your server's in the breakfast area to 2 spanish customers in spanish the had fresh eggs in back if they prefer but only offered thed buffet to us and the other people that came in when we did. Little did she know my wife is spanish and a Spanish-speaking leas

The hotel was beautiful. The room was clean and well maintained. The pool was large and the kids enjoyed it. I was a little surprised by the price of the breakfast buffet, but overall my stay was enjoyable.

This is the 2nd time we stayed here and we like the hotel and the location. Front desk was having some issues this visit and seemed like computer system was not working properly. Also, there were lots of family and kids at the hotel and lots of jumping that sounded like elephants on the ceiling and running in the hallway in the middle of the night. Hotel told us we should call front desk re: running in hall at night but it stopped by the time we woke up enough to take action. Overall, we are happy with the hotel but there are lots of families staying there with accompanying noise issues.
