Home2 Suites by Hilton Chicago River North

We enjoyed our stay at Home2 Suites. It was perfect for our family with the kitchen & full size fridge which came in handy for baby food and leftovers. We love that the hotel is dog friendly so we were able to easily travel with her. The staff were all friendly & helpful! Appreciated the late check out flexibility as it takes us longer than normal with a little one. We wished the breakfast time was longer and it was replenished as the food was gone soo quickly. The elevators were slow so it wasn't as convenient to step out quickly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come here again.

We took a day trip to Chicago to see family. The hotel was very nice. Comfortable. The only thing I would maybe suggest is clearer information about parking/lack of valet. Breakfast was fine for what it was. Will most likely be back for our next trip

I like that the room has microwave and utensils you can use throughout the stay especially because we have a toddler.

It is a clean hotel with visible relative new infrastructure. Room is spacious. I didn't like that doors are too heavy and you could hear now and then guests slamming the doors. Not good. The sheets are not cotton so be prepared to see some sort of attached fluffs on them. They're clean but those things give a certain worry. Location is excellent. There are many options around to eatx coffee, drinks, and even grocery shopping. Forget about breakfast option. Do not take it if you have the option. It is ok for one or two days but more than that... horrible. All is the same. If there were at least good coffee, then it'd make a difference. Sometimes there is no even hot water. If you are a business person, traveling for a task, it is a good hotel. If your family is with small kids...not a good idea. The concierge system to get in is kind of different from the norm so it doesn't make the hotel "cozy" so to speak. Staff is courteous though and ready to help, specially at the front desk. All in all, I rate the hotel with a hard 3.9 stars

I had a wonderful stay. I believe his name is John, our fridge was broken, and he upgraded my room to a king suite which was amazing. Only problem we had with our stay is, not letting people smoke any substance directly in front of the doorway because there are people trying to walk in as well as children. I recommend telling those to do it on the side of the building rather than the front. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and I would stay here again.

The room we were alloted: 1. The dish washer was leaking and out of order. There was continuous beep which was annoying even when it was at 2.00 AM in the morning. 3. Very little help from front des to attend to the issue. The bathroom door was non functional. 4. I will never stay in this hotel again. 5. I request EXPEDIA TO REFUND MY MONEY IN FULL WITHOUT FAIL. 6. This hotel is not livable for any family.

We stayed at home2 suites for 5 nights and we didn’t have housekeeping. We have 2 kids and you can imagine how dirty it was in the end, so we didn’t like this aspect. The front desk was really really nice and give us a general better experience attending all our needs.

We stayed for two nights from 10/14-10/16-23 with two young children. The front desk people are really nice and helpful. The room is very clean and spacious, shower is great. The location is great, we can walk to most places. We definitely stay here again…

We came in for a Memorial Service for a family member. However, we also wanted to enjoy some of the Events that were happening in the area. Got to enjoy Millennium Park and Taste of Chicago in Grant Park. Love the location, as it was perfect for traveling around Downtown, River and South Shore areas. Staff were exceptional!

It's not good for families, rooms are okay, internet was down, system was down, not good service, less staff.
