Hilton Garden Inn Chicago/Midway Airport

I was put out at 9pm by Luz the front desk lady. Her first reason being a noise complaint but when the security came to the room the children were in the bed laying down so when she couldn’t use that she said it was only 4 people to the room and because I had 4 children under 10 and just myself staying that the new reason was because it was 1 to many people. I didn’t know that a single parent with more than 3 kids can’t rent hotel rooms without being put out. I explained that I didn’t have anywhere else for the children to sleep at for the night as we live hours away. I was told to drive home then. While the property itself is nice the staff is horrible. The police and security even tried to talk to the lady and she still made us leave with no refund. If you do go I suggest you read the paper they make you sign at check in because they will try to lie about the policy in your face.

I felt like I was getting nickeled and dined my entire stay. They put a loud family of 6 next to me room who stayed up until 2am. Parking is 24$ a day. No free breakfast, have to pay 15$ for a crappy breakfast. I mean overcooked eggs, shriveled sausage, stale cereal. It was ridiculous, I won’t be back again.

Great place , close to the CTA and fun time with family

Didn’t like the surprise parking fee and the fact I came for the pool and the day we come the pool was closed kids was looking forward to it and was disappointed I could have went somewhere else

It was horrible. I was quoted one price. Got charged a different price. Then get charged for 2 parking permit when I only needed one. You have to pay for breakfast. For 2 orders of french toast. Which only had 2 pieces of dried bread. Came to 24$ the next morning i went to take the kids swimmin at 10am. Couldnt because front desk lost the pool key. They was suppose to call and let us know when it was open. Never did but called to tell us they lost the key. Then this morning i get notified that i got charged 4 times for 4 different amounts totalling 880$ and the front desk couldnt explain why bc on their end it shows i was charged only 1 time. So expect over priced dry food, hidden charges they dont tell you about and cant explain why

Water dripping from the faucet all night Keep me awake 4am told front desk(lady very nice). Next morning I told front desk and I also mentioned that the shower tub was clogged and I said that I was gonna be out all day, And when I came back around midnight they acted like they didn't know anything about it. But they did clean up the drain from the shower tub. At least one person, the night lady was Is very understanding and offer to switch rooms but with the family really tired I just turned the water off!!!

They have a quick and easy check in. I was able to book the pool for an hour ao our kids could enjoy some fun time. Room was clean and beds and pillow are comfortable.
