Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Chicago Midway Airport

This place is very run down although it appears somewhat new. The carpeting is thickly stained like it wasn't ever dealt with just vacuumed in. Still has whatever material caused the stain in it. The air conditioner unit has clearly been broken several times before and just propped back into place so it fell onto us as we walked by in the night . We had asked if the pillows or anything in the room was down and were assured it was not and it was indeed down pillows and possibly the comforter too. However the comforter was so thin you couldn't really figure out the material. The couch was broken, it was un-sit-able. I pity the family that tries to utilize it as a bed. The front desk was friendly.

It was okay the pool had to be cleaned but eventually opened until 10 other kids came in just being loud. The staff was nice. The cons is the sink didn’t have hot water and the tv remote wouldn’t go channel to channel you have to press numbers to channel surf

The free breakfast and pool were super important to me and my family!

I was kind of upset that I didn’t get the room I booked. My husband and I have two babies so I booked a room with a king size bed but got a smaller bed. Wasn’t able to get much rest….

Hotel was clean and check in was easy but parking fees were ridiculous. I guess one of those hidden fees. Young children and older kids running halls and noisy all after 9 pm and 1 outburst after midnight! I guess hotel can't control rude people and parents. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast was very good.
