DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Midway Airport

It was conveniently located and so close to everything and my family too.

We chose this hotel on a last minute deal. We had a death in family. It was near airport and convenient. Everything was great. Food was good amenities were excellent and the room was very much comfortable

The hotel is beautiful and my family had a wonderful stay. Front desk was really nice and the hotel was very clean on down to the rooms.

Check in was very easy, room was cleaned properly and overall the entire hotel was clean. The on-site restaurant was amazing, it did take some time to receive our take out order but they also seemed pretty busy. My kids ages, 7,11 and 1 enjoyed our stay.

Love the cookies received at check-in! I think it should be provided daily to customers for duration of their stay or at least at check-out as a parting gift. Enjoyed the ready-made coffee in the morning in the lobby. I think the hotel rooms should provide at minimum 4 creamers in the room as the 2 creamers were not enough for 2 people as most people take at least 2 creamers per cup. Would also recommend at least 4 coffee cups be in each room (to use for morning coffee and afternoon tea for use by 2 people). Pool was nice, but the pool bathroom was very dirty. Personally like hotels that include continental breakfast, so would recommend that be considered. Appreciated the shuttle service to and from the airport. Would recommend the rooms be cleaned everyday. Was disappointed to come back at night after an event and find our room still looking like a mess. Our shower also had some rust stain on the floor that was very disconcerting to look at. My kids thought it look like a bloodstain, and we had to cover the area with a towel so that the kids would feel comfortable showering in there. Would recommend a better secured toilet paper roll holder as the roll always pops out onto the floor when pulled. Appreciated the security going onto the elevator as it requires a hotel key to use. Was nice to have both a microwave and fridge in the room. The fridge though was overloaded with ice on its ceiling, so as a result, we were not able to store anything on top rack of the fridge.
