The hotel offered several little touches that just made one feel welcome and at home. Staff were super friendly. Management went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay while we dealt with an unusual family medical dilemma. It was so appreciated.

Great place for a family to stay. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The kids loved the popcorn and cookies in the lobby. Staff was friendly. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Would stay here again.

Friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms and the breakfast was surprisingly good with the best warm chocolate chip cookies in the evening!! Our kids LOVED it! Great location to the lake and not a bad drive to Silverwood. Highly recommend

Everything was clean, stay nice and service was good. Convenient location to friends/family in area and easy to get downtown/to lake. One note: no elevator, so if any difficulty with steps/luggage, ask for main floor room.

We arrived quite late in the evening after a long day of travel. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds as there were 3 of us, but when we checked in there were none of these rooms left (apparently air con had broken in the room that was meant for us). We were told that we were going to be upgraded to a suite instead, the room was a lot bigger, but there was only 1 king bed instead, which didn't work for the 3 of us. We were given a free roll-a-bed for the 3rd person, which was certainly not an upgrade from a queen bed. THis person was not able to sleep on the roll-a-bed as it was too uncomfy. It might have been ok for a young child. They ended up having a very poor sleep on the sofa instead. We ended up deciding to leave and not stay the second night of our trip as we were too tired from not having the appropriate beds. We were offered our correct room for the second night, but we had come to attend / compete in an event and weren't able to do it due to tiredness, so we cut the trip short and went home instead. We were refunded for our stay, which was good, but didn't make up for the missed event.

Only stayed one night while passing through but the experience was very meh. The non smoking room had the musty ashtray smell in the bedding. There was a smashed bug on the baseboard of the bathroom (yes I’m pretty sure it was a roach but…at least it wasn’t alive?) the breakfast was fruit loops, cheerios, hard boiled eggs, yogurt cups or bagels/eng muffins. A small continental which was fine. For $160 I wasn’t super thrilled but for the one night (and everything else was booked up or $400 ) I figured I didn’t have much choice. It could have been a bit better. I’d only stay here again if it was all there was and my kids were desperately needing to sleep during a road trip.

We have been staying here off and on for over 2 years, as we have been building a home in the area. We have seen that the facility has been slowly making improvements and were impressed by the staff and cleanliness. The breakfast was filling but they could have added a few things to give them a better rating. I even suggested it a couple of times. Our last stay was disappointing. They downsized their breakfast bar to a bagel bar, fruit loops for kids. So, if you are looking for a meal before you start your day, don’t depend on that here. I sat in the dinning room listening to the sarcasm and jokes as people came in and out about what they weren’t finding. I understand that our economy sucks right now and businesses are doing what they can to stay open, but this has changed our minds of coming back or referring it to others.
