Reviews looked great, until you get there. The whole bathroom was water damaged, no fan, the shower curtain went too far out and there’s water all over the floor every time. The shower head was so rotten, rusted and moldy. Water was not coming out like it should. Asked them to fix that as having a bunch of kids and long hair girls it did not wash very well. The mattresses were sooo hard, and the pillows were the worse. Literally had to find a chiropractor and a mall massage the next day. Dreaded sleeping the next day. The pool was freezing. It was the worse 2 days.

Thr room was disgusting. The sheets were dirty and had some crumbs in it. The night stand had what looked like pizza sauce and splattered milk all over the side. The couch looked dirty and had crumbs on it also. Stains on the carpet. The bathroom had mold all over the ceiling. I went to the front desk to tell them we could not stay in that room and I wanted to check out. They told me they didn’t have the authorization to cancel my booking since it was booked through a third-party. He then came and looked at room and talked to someone and then called the room and basically told me he didn’t have the authority to do anything so I could drape a sheet over the dirty bed. After I said that was unacceptable and there was no way anyone should stay in that room under those circumstances he said he’d look into if we could change rooms. I told them I would like to look at it but I didn’t want to commit to it. He then made me check out of the old room and into the new room before I could see. Even though I again said that I wanted to see it before switching. He assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. When we went to the second room it was definitely cleaner but not clean enough that I felt like there house cleaning was adequate. And did not feel safe for me or my family to sleep in there. So I contacted hotels.com since the hotel couldn’t help. They sent in for a cancellation and I went to another hotel. The hotel then came back and denied it because I “accepted the room”

This hotel refused to let us check in because we were local .. we booked this and paid in advance through Expedia because our home was being repaired . We went to check in and said they have a no local policy for anyone living within 125 miles of their hotel .. this was a last minute prepaid booking so I was not able to cancel … and they would not help me recover a refund . I’ve recommended this exact hotel to all my family when they are in town visiting us .. I’m shocked that they would leave us stranded like this .

My kids were looking forward to the swimming pool all day. When they got in the chlorine levels were so high it burt Thier skin. It was hard to breath so we left after only a bit.

Good price, ample room for a family. The restroom had no ceiling fan for the steam from shower, therefore very suffocating and it set off a "utility alarm" causing the front desk to knock on the door late in the night. Love that it had a pool & hot tub, but thanks to a careless adult who couldn't follow rules, pool was shut down for cleaning due to mess in pool and hot tub with a substance the tweens in her care had.

Had to buy another room for the baby in our group because we couldn't have our entire family of 6 in one room together. The rooms were not a connecting room, nor could I get the same discounted rate I had purchased the first room with.
Additionally the beds are like roll away beds, very springy and not comfortable at all.

Checked in late on a Friday. Employee at front dest was nice. Got into our room and wanted to unpack. By this time it was almost midnight. Went to unpack bathroom stuff and as i was putting my shampoo in the bathtub i notice empty shampoo and conditioner bottles and a used body soap with hair stuck to it. I used to work housekeeping at hotels before and know that sometimes you forget something but the shower curtain was set aside and there was a new bath rug towel set. So how can there be a new set there and not notice the hair and shampoo? Was the bathtub even cleaned? Was the room even cleaned or was everything just set back to look like it was? Like i said it was already midnight and my family and i had a long drive. I didnt want to pack everything up and move to another room. I did let the staff know about it and they apologized. But it still felt like i was staying in a dirty room.

My kids' favorite part of staying in a hotel is swimming, but we learned at check in that the pool was unavailable. I understand it wasn't within the staff's power, but it was a huge bummer. They could've offered a discount for not providing that major amenity, but they didn't. Other than that, it was a fine experience.
