Fairfield Inn & Suites Savannah SW/Richmond Hill

My family and I had an amazing stay. Bethany at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. The breakfast was good each morning. The room was clean and neat. There was an indoor pool that was nice and clean. The only negative I can say at all is being your own pillows with you. The pillows were not comfortable at all. I would definitely bring mine and stay here again!

Quick and easy check in process. The room is nice and clean, perfect for a family with a young child.

Elevator not working and no one to help with luggage. Male with shoulder issues, 80 and 72 year old women and 10 year old child struggled. No discount for inconvenience. Breakfast was fabulous !

I liked the way the staff treat me and my family at the same time your facility is very clean. I didn’t like that breakfast was not as good as before!

Overall, this property is an adequate place to stay. The room was clean, but needed some basic TLC. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, but trim molding was falling off the wall, shower door didn’t close properly, so just basic upkeep is needed Breakfast bar was typical make your own waffle, eggs of some sort, and breakfast meat. Not expecting gourmet fare, but this location didn’t even bother to have hot food or coffee past 8 am though the bar was supposed to close at 9 According to staff, they did not replenish hot foods past 8 am and when hot food was requested as bar was supposed to be open until 9 am it was refused. Though this was a trip for family event, and I’m unlikely to be in the area again, if I was in the area, I’d give this hotel a miss

Booked for one night stop over. Room smelt of dense dampness, had thick mold around ceiling fixtures in the room, carpet felt damp, writing on the wallpaper (highlighter that looked like from when it was being installed?), scribbling on the walls at child height around the bed area, dirty pull out mattress with food on and underneath it, silver fish crawling around that area. Was moved to another room on the floor below. Didn’t smell but still had markings on the wallpaper and pull out couch mattress was dirty and the floor underneath it had old french fries and a hair comb. Disappointing. In the night heard intense audible shouting, come to realize it was the TV in the room next door! Sadly, not a great experience :(

Staff was very friendly during check-in and when I asked them to give us new sheets for us to put on the bed because there were hairs and a rather large brown stain on the ones on the bed. I did not mention the pubic hairs in the bathroom floor at that time. They were not as friendly when my family and I checked out at 10:30 pm after we saw a roach crawl up the wall. They offered us a new room with bit of an attitude and then it got worse after we asked for a refund and told them we were checking out. The young lady at the desk said “Expedia might give you a refund because we don’t touch third party reservations”. My family was completely grossed out! Not sure how they have a 4.5/5 cleanliness rating!!

A new-ish property so I had high hopes. The air conditioner in our room made a squeaking sound that would not stop. It left my family with a restless night of sleep. We arrived to breakfast an hour before closing and there was nothing left, except for gluten free toast and grits. A breakfast attendant was nowhere to be found. This was fine as a quick overnight stop off the interstate but lots of room for improvement.
