Atlanta Airport Marriott

The property was old and did not quite meet my expectation of cleanliness. The bath had scum, the door of the bathroom was rippled up, the room had a weird smell and my sheets were a bit spotty. Breakfast was acceptable and they did have an indoor/outdoor pool that was about 3-5ft all the way around so perfect for small kids. My first thought was how are they rated a 4 star hotel. It was not at all at that caliber.

The first three days I thought I was at an adult only hotel because I did not see and children or teenagers. This made those three days very relaxing by the pools.

This place is a disaster and my stay was horrendous. Check in and check out were the only good parts of my stay. I woke up my first morning, took a shower and opened up my towel only to find a BLOODSTAINED towel. I’m not kidding. I used another one, kindly told the front desk about it since I didn’t want housekeepers to get the blame for it. Around 2pm I received an email thanking me for my stay, almost like a checkout email, which I chalked up to just a systems error since I was scheduled to check out the next day. When I got back to the hotel around 5pm, my room hadn’t been turned over so I called the front desk to see if they missed my room and indeed they did since they thought I was supposed to have checked out, although upon further review they realized they made an error and they would clean the room when I left for dinner about an hour later. 10 minutes after that phone call another person walked into my room since the front desk had checked someone else into my room when they erroneously checked me out. I walked downstairs and still kept my calm and told them what was going on. They were very apologetic and told me the room would be cleaned before I returned from dinner. And guess what?? I returned around 10pm only to find they hadn’t done squat! A housekeeping manager ended up going into my room to give me new towels and did some clean up and at that point I just didn’t want to deal with the incompetent management. Stay away!!

My reservation was for 3. There was nothing said about the parking situation at the front desk except that it costed $25. There were children screaming from the pool area past 11:00 PM. The staff member that answered the phone at 05:55 on 7/31/2023 was rude and would not get us towels as my reservation was for 3 and the room was set up for two. With a very nasty attitude she tells me I have to come to the front desk at almost 6AM to get towels. The phone in the room does not work. The beds are uncomfortable. This was the worst Marriott that I have ever stayed in. I will never stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay.

My stay was absolutely fantastic. I was there for a family event and I really enjoyed my stay.

We arrived late and the hotel had given our room with two queen beds to someone else. They gave us a room with a king bed and said they would bring a roll-a-way bed up (We had 1 adult and 2 children). Almost 2 hours later we received the bed. We checked in at 8:45 and it was almost 11 when the bed got there and the children were already asleep and they we woke up by the staff bringing the bed in. Also, the tub faucet was leaking badly and when we checked into the room housekeeping had closed the drain and we had a tub full of water. When they cleaned the room during our stay they closed the drain again and we had another tub full of water. The restaurant in the lobby was also very slow and had only marginal food quality at best. The worst Marriott I have ever stayed at.
