Hyatt House Augusta Downtown

We had to stay 5 nights at the Hyatt House due to a medical emergency in the family. We couldn’t have been happier with the property. The rooms were nice and super clean. The front desk guy David was so nice and helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I’m ever back in downtown Augusta I know where I’m staying.

This is my 1 of my favorite hotels in Augusta. I love the suit that has the living room with 2 bedrooms. Very convenient when traveling with children or 2 couples

I was there for a family funeral and wanted to stay somewhere near the rest of the family. I enjoyed my stay and the only reason I didn't give the cleanliness 5 stars was the baseboards in the the bathroom needed a little attention. I would definitely stay there again when I have to go home. Oh and the breakfast selection was EXCELLENT!

Our family booked a room for a week while watching a relative in a hospital ICU nearby. Several of us cycled in and out of the room during this process, and all of us were very happy with Hyatt House. It was very convenient, had nice facilities, and best of all a kind and professional staff. The parking in their garage was very easy and made our group of (mostly) women feel safe, especially since we were coming and going at odd hours. As may be expected in a downtown area, there are homeless encampments nearby, so if you are leery of that beware. The flip side of that is that the downtown area appears the be going through a process of revitalization, and there are neat shops and restaurants nearby as well. (Shoutout to Farmhaus for delicious burgers) We feel very fortunate to have booked this jewel for our stay, and a fraught family situation was made easier by having a clean reliable place staffed by kind people to return to between shifts at the hospital.

The front desk staff was amazing and accomodating. We had a family member in the hospital and had to keep extending our stay and they were so helpful. Our experience at the roof top bar was mixed, the bar tender was absolutely fabulous but the food was terrible. There were only 8 items on the menu and they didn't have two of the eight items offered. I ordered soup and it was cold. Our room was fabulous and clean, we loved it.

Our stay was perfect! The staff was amongst the best that we’ve ever experienced. One in particular…Gerald…went beyond the call of duty! He took the time to converse with our family. We’re grateful for his compassion and hospitality!

The property itself was fine overall. Two of the staff members were really great and super helpful. Another sent me to a pretty unsafe area at night and she knew better so that was disappointing. The walls between the rooms are thin so I spent one night listening to a man burp very loudly for hours. It was insane. Then I spent the next morning listening to him and his family being loud and obnoxious. So no sleep that night. Very annoyed. I’d stay there again - now that I know the area around the hotel to avoid and know to bring ear plugs.
