Lido Beach Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Lido Beach Resort. The staff was friendly and helpful, the grounds were clean and updated, and the beach and pool were family friendly.

Beach location is phenomenal and my kids had a blast!

The hotel was very nice. The pool was great. The pool attendants were great! The hotel was clean! The hotel had a huge size fridge and microwave and also provided water, popcorn and Nespresso coffee in the room. There was places to read, swing and even play table games. So don’t forget to bring your cards and games. Also bring to make s’mores, there’s a pit that can be used. All together great for adults and families. There is a private adult pool and jacuzzi.

Good family oriented hotel.

Excellent property— beautifully decorated and located on a tranquil private beach! Two pools: one for families and one for adults only relaxation. Tiki bar is so cool. Restaurant on 8th floor has excellent food and amazing views! This world traveler highly recommends this property!!!!

Great property for a long or story family vacation! Pools are very nice and the resort grounds appeared to be very well kept. We look forward to coming back soon!

Family friendly place; better for families than for couples. Nice beach and staff were great. We were generally pretty happy, but at this price point "pretty happy" is not the target. They were unable to fix the deadbolt on our door or the icemaker in our refrigerator in the week we were there. Food in the main restaurant was definitely hit or miss. Shuttle service into St. Armand's circle was "first-come, first-serve," which was inadequate around dinner time. First time we tried to ride, less than 1/3 of the folks waiting were able to get on and a couple of older couples who had been waiting got passed by a couple of aggressive young families and nobody with the hotel seemed to care, though 2 or 3 employees were in the driveway. Definitely need a car if you can't make the 3/4 mile walk to the nearest restaurants or bars. Fitness center was what you'd expect at Holiday Inn.

We chose to stay at this hotel for a family trip. The hotel seemed decent as reviews had indicated on tripadvisor. However, since the moment we arrived the front desk was very disorganized. The hotel was very dated and they put us on the first floor, awful! Do yourself a favor and change your room immediately! You can hear everything outside your room at all hours of the night into early morning. My father-in-law had to buy a pair of earplugs to block out the noise. Aside, I called the hotel in advance and was informed we'd have 2 nice rooms that overlooked the water on a higher floor, obviously not the case. This hotel is mediocre at best and not worth the amount of money that they overcharge you for sub-par service and a basic, cheap dated hotel room. They also charge an additional $15 per day for parking, really?! And an extra $25 "resort fee" for a bag of popcorn and water and some towels, which you could easily buy on your own. The only pro's to this hotel was the shuttle service and the tiki bar.

An unfortunate stay. This was not the quiet, private beach safe environment that I was expecting for my family. There was a large group who took over the beach and were disrespectful to the rest of the first. Hotel management refuse to do anything making a very uncomfortable environment for everyone. I even notice a couple of altercations with some guest when they complained and asked for the music to be turned down. They were told if they didn't like it to get off the beach. I cannot rexommend this hotel for a family vacation.
