Room, beds and bath were clean and comfortable. There is a free shuttle from hotel to downtown that runs "as needed". Pool area is closed for renovation. "Pool area" is really a misnomer for large cool tub, and large hot tub. Each was ~ 6' x 10' in length. Both were semi-covered with plywood, and surrounded by 16" high lattice garden fencing. Would not have deterred a curious child that could quickly slip thru the un-locked exit door. Waited 40 minutes to have cold waffles and french toast delivered to the table. Waffles were obviously pulled from a freezer. Checked out with hungry kids in tow. Manager was apologetic and credited several fees. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay and don't need a pool or made to order breakfast, it's a nice place.

We booked our stay through Hotels.com, as we feel that pricing is less. We weren't sure how long we were going to stay in town, as we came in on a family emergency. Our first couple of nights we were overcharged by $150. When we brought to the front desks attention, he asked us for confirmation of rates through Hotels. My husband emailed the information to him and he took care of it. We had to follow up with him however. We ended up staying another 4 nights, and we were overcharged again. It took some time, but we were credited back. The hotel is under construction so that is a bit noisy as well as annoying. Sometimes both elevators worked, sometimes they didn't. I will say that those that worked at the front desk were for the most part helpful. We did not require any additional services so I can't speak to that. We have stayed at several IHG hotels this past month and never had to pay $12.95 for breakfast. That seemed a little steep. We passed on this. We did know others that stayed at the same time we did and they received complimentary breakfast coupons. This was not offered to us. The stay would probably have been more pleasant if the hotel was not under construction, which I was told would be another 10 months or so.

I booked this hotel because it was rated high in cleanliness, and while the room/beds were very clean and comfortable, the hotel staff wore masks only part of the time and the guests often did not wear masks at all. I was there for a hospital procedure and thought the hotel would enforce the "please wear a mask" policy as part of its cleanliness boast. Not so. Further, in a not-very-full hotel, we were placed in a room immediately next to a family with a constantly screaming baby. They should have put a room or two between guests with small children, especially babies, and other guests. We had to get up at 3 a.m. to be at the hospital at 5 a.m., and the screaming baby made getting to bed early impossible. The staff was cordial and helpful but sometimes, especially at night, maskless.

Stayed in Hotel for 3 Nights - We had a King Room on the top floor (4th) with City View - the room was freshly decorated and we were provided with a welcome tray which was a nice touch. Modern and calming room. Would definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to family and friends.
