Hampton Inn Winter Haven

I enjoyed every minute of my stay here, from the check-in, to a good hot breakfast, to the weight room! I know that they've done some renovations over the years and you can tell! The people at the front desk and the manager were friendly. I know it's close to Lego Land although I didn't come with small children. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Florida.

Second time at this property, and what a bummer. The first time it was all good, this time most of the hotel is under construction. When we pulled up it looked like a horror movie, spooky all teared down, i mean really in bad shape. I have 2 little ones and I was worried it was going to fall down. Front desk didnt seemed to concerned, just said they have been like this since september, so months to renovate and still teared down. Expedia is also to blame here, why wasnt I informed of the hotel conditions before booking it? I would have never booked it like this. Dont stay here, at least until they renovate it.

I had an overall wonderful stay here. The staff was nice and breakfast OMG was good!! Plus it was less than 7mins. away from Legoland(our reason for going). I just wished I would’ve known they would be renovating because my kids love getting in the pool every hotel we stay at and unfortunately due to the renovations they weren’t able. Aside from that I would definitely go back, oh and it’s in walking distance to some good restaurants.

A pleasant, single night stay with family. Very accommodating staff and good breakfast. Happy with our stay.

Overall the hotel was clean and the room was clean. The only issue we had was the faucet handle broke the day we left. The shuttle to Legoland was great and was always on time. They offer 3 departure times and 3 pick up times, which makes it very convenient. The breakfast buffet was good, with DIY waffles, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc. There were definitely plenty of options, which is great when you have kids. The beds were a little uncomfortable;we woke up sore each day. I'd recommend bringing your own pillow if you have a good one. I would also recommend keeping the a/c fan on constant, because when it kicks off and on, it can wake you up because it's a little loud. There are tons of restaurants in the area, and plenty of stores to buy anything you need (or forgot!). Legoland lets you bring food and drinks, so you can stock up when you get there instead of bringing a bunch of stuff in the car. Overall, we couldn't beat the location and the kids had a blast.

Great place to stay close to Legoland. Enjoyed the amazing free breakfast and personal service. Very comfortable lobby and pool area to hang out with our family friends, and the whole environment was child-friendly. Laundry is not on site but just across the parking lot at their sister hotel, the Holiday Inn.

Friendly staff great hotel everyrhing was good, the only thing i didnt like was no elevator so we had to climb two flights of stairs with two toddlers an infant and all of or luggage, other than that everything was good.
