Courtyard by Marriott Winter Haven

Our stay here was wonderful! I never write reviews, but the customer service here was really great and the hotel was super clean, smelled great, and very modern. The breakfast was delicious and well priced, with vegan options and allergen friendly. We wanted a hotel near Lego land and this was minutes away and right next to a Publix where we picked up food for dinner before checking in. We picked this hotel because it has soundproofing and it was true soundproofing. We didn’t hear anyone and we were grateful that others weren’t going to be bothered by our baby in the night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our allergy needs. We are planning a return stay soon!

Very happy we stayed here! Staff especially lady who checked us in was extremely nice and personable. The bartender handled the crowd like a champ. Hotel location was perfect for our short and sweet visit to Legoland and priced well if you’re not wanting to spend the high prices at the Legoland resorts. Clean, modern and spacious lobby area and rooms. Only think I would suggest is more kid-friendly activities possibly. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a pleasant stay at Marriott Courtyard. From check-in, the concierge agent was welcoming and friendly. Our room had a lake view and it was clean! The amenities included, the market, bistro/ bar, gym, pool and fireplace as well as a business center. Marriott has always been among my preferred hotels. The best part of it was the proximity to Legoland and the many restaurants in its surroundings. I highly recommend this establishment!

From the start we requested to pay for a better room view and the front desk said she couldn’t do it because we paid via hotels.com. We said we would pay the difference. Second we asked for a pack and play. The lady said she emailed “upstairs” and couldn’t guarantee. Around 11pm when my infant daughter couldn’t fall asleep and crying I called downstairs. A different front desk person answered and 2 mins later literally she shows up with a pack and play. We were relieved but upset that we were lied to. In the morning, the cafe that serves Starbucks said the espresso machine was broken; no alternative. Morning time, we requested bath towels for the kids, took a few calls no one ever showed, we found the house keepers in the hallway and asked them. Overall we were disappointed as we frequently stay at the jw by our home and always have a great time.

We stayed there as a family to go to Legoland in a queen. The gentleman at the front desk upgraded us to a lake view which was lovely.
