Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando - International Dr S, an IHG Hotel

My overall experience was not pleasant. You have to pay for breakfast, the cold items in the market were melted and the hotel front entry is very busy. I couldn’t sleep and at first I couldn’t figure out why. I purchase an air humidifier but it didn’t help much. I ended up leaving and sleeping at a family member home. On check out I noticed black mold on the air conditioner vent. Photos attached.

Second time staying here with my family. Pool is usually empty. Would stay here again.

Property location was good for shopping and was in a quiet area. However, some of the staff was very rude and did not provide all the information necessary at check-in. Cleaning was very poor as we had to keep asking for towels everyday and some days although we left around 11am and then took off our DND sigh, no cleaning was done. So upon return from a long day, had to go down to front desk for towels as house cleaning was said to have left for the day and then deal with very unprofessional and rude staff. Clearly some of the staff with the exception of one needs proper training. We rented a suite on top floor so we cud have the pull out sofa for a 5th family member, the mattress was terrible and noisy and we resorted to just sleeping on it as a couch. Signage was poor, the laundry room on the 5th floor was in the ice room and there were no sign saying this. Cost for laundry differed from what was stated on the information sheet. After going to another Holiday Inn immediately after my stay here i noticed a vast difference in their service being much much better.

My family stays at this hotel on your annual trips to the parks and it never disappoints. A good middle ground in between Disney and Universal, that is in a safe and secure area. There are also many stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel which is a plus. Staff is friendly as always and we plan on seeing them next year!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to after being so skeptical about staying here. I usually stay at a high end hotel just so I can have a luxurious vacation but this was just a trip to take my 2 year old to Disney world so I figured I’ll get a reasonable hotel. First off John at the front desk is super! He does his job with a smile and he’s very helpful and concerned. He was so sincere with making our stay as comfy as possible. He deserves employee of the year! The king suite we had was very spacious and clean and had all the amenities I needed. Bed was very comfortable and my baby didn’t wake through the night like he usually does. The kitchenette which had a fridge stored perishables and drinks I bought from Walmart for our day at the Disney park. I was able to microwave leftovers from the Cheesecake Factory which is literally right across the street from the hotel. I love Florida shopping and loved the fact that the outlets were a minute drive away. Everything was just so convenient and I have nothing bad to say about my stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely stay....Beautifully maintained property...Loved the little extras....like games in the lobby on nightly bases a good way to entertain kids on property and for Couples to engage as well...would just recommend a few more than Jenga and Checkers....the Bar and happy hour....the tv and couch....lobby was a lovely place to hang......loved the washer and dryer on the floor was a great amenity especially traveling with kids......love that the bath products were dove...did not like that you occasionally got some really cheap face towels you could see through....didn't like that the park ticket kisok was not operational....would have been good to have that in house.....Lovely neighborhood....great dining and shopping....would definitely stay again and again and then again

Minor hiccups with room towels and our room was close to the elevator and you can hear kids yell, but that's expected during the summer time. Just wish the room was in a better location.

One of the beds in our room had protruding metals from the box spring and 2 of our family members bumped their legs on it. We did not have cups on our coffee table and the room smell was musty. We were only given 2 sets of towels and we there were 4 of us who checked in, so we had to ask extra towels.

I choose to stay at Holiday Inn regularly when I travel for work or pleasure, so there's that. This experience was a bit of a mixed bag, though. The room was clean and modern, as expected. But there was no safe, which only mattered to me this time because we were going to the parks in Orlando and needed to stash phones/tablets/wallets -- I ended up leaving the do-not-disturb hanger out all day and foregoing housekeeping in order to keep people out of the room. I also noticed mildew between the shower doors and under the edge of the sink -- this seems to be typical for the chain. The biggest drawback was breakfast -- I paid for it in my reservation, then was met with all sorts of stipulations. Had to get a voucher from the front desk every morning; children can't order a la carte but only one of two menu options; when an adult orders a la carte, they have to choose three options even if they only want one; I much prefer when the hotel includes a breakfast buffet in the price of the stay and lets people choose what, if anything, that they want. All in all, first-world problems, so I wouldn't discourage anyone from staying here!
