Amazing hotel from start to finish! The service is excellent and the rooms are spacious especially the 2 bedroom family room. The friendly staff could not do more for you … they were just brilliant! One of the best things though was the shuttle bus service to/from Universal theme parks. It ran every 10-15 mins. Excellent service. Also this hotel gave you early access 8am to Islands - another benefit!

It was a great place to stay, it would have been even more beneficial had we been visiting Universal Studios daily due to the free transportation. However while we were at the hotel the experience was great. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were great for our family. The only negative is the price of the food and drinks.

The hotel is just "okay," but it's overpriced for the type of room offered. There was a bad smell throughout the entire building. The beds and mattresses were terrible, and the bed sheets looked dirty and old. Overall, the hotel needs more maintenance. It might be suitable for big families with kids visiting the parks, but not for couples. The atmosphere is very loud, and the cleaning staff is extremely noisy in the hallways at 8 AM. The only positive aspect, and the reason I'm giving two stars, is the convenient transportation to the park. However, I won't stay here again and prefer other Universal resorts.

Very good hotel with interesting rates. The rooms are very confortable with all the commodities you need. The pool is nice. As part of universal studio resorts, you will enjoy free shuttles to access to universal studios and Volcano bay, including universal citywalk at night. The hotel restaurant offers many dinning options for families at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel.

Incredible place to stay… we go to Florida with our family every year and usually rent a villa for the week and we wanted to try something different so we looked up this hotel(Resort) the first thing I look up is the reviews there was only great things to say about it so I took the chance of booked and cannot have been happier. We actually left this morning and I told my husband I could’ve said two more days just to stay at the resort clean staff is super friendly. It was breathtaking.

This hotel was so clean and comfortable. Food court offered my family several healthy options which was nice. The pool area was spacious and the poolside bar was great for afternoon margaritas. My husband used the fitness center and said it was well maintained. We used the hotel shuttle to universal and it was quick and easy! We went to universal, Disney, and had some days to relax by the pool. Even though this is considered a universal hotel I would bring my family back even if we weren’t going to universal. I thought this hotel was way better than the Disney ones we’ve stayed in before and we got a suite for the same price!

Great location near the parks and with the hotel shuttle service it is very comfortable to get there. Parking at the hotel was comfortable and inexpensive. The hotel itself is clean and welcoming. We had a 6 person room which was a bit smaller than can be but still managable. Internet and cable tv for the kids was great. Lastly, the area around the hotel is full of dining options so it's just a matter of which one to choose. Definitely recommended hotel and a future comeback

Surfside Inn & Suites is conveniently located close to the theme parks. The shuttles ran every five minutes and the commute took approximately 5-10 minutes. The two bedroom suite was the perfect size for my family of four including myself, husband and two teenage children. The hotel grounds were clean and the pool area was relaxing.
