Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside

Daughter went by herself to visit family, hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer. She used the shuttle which was wonderful and driver very friendly. Overall hotel was very nice with a fabulous pool.

The common areas of the hotel were stunning. Many comfy sitting areas throughout the vast lobby and bar area. We had breakfast in the cafe upon our arrival and the cleanliness, quality and service were top notch; a bit pricey which is not uncommon for high-end hotel restaurants. I believe the bar itself could benefit from a bit of restructuring to allow more patron access in front and more room for the bar staff behind. We had a standard room with two double beds for our family of 4. The beds were super clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for our large suitcases. The bathroom and shower were clean and stocked with essentials. There was not a blow dryer in the room, which is common in most hotels these days, so plan ahead. The luggage valet staff was prompt and courteous, tips are expected. The complimentary shuttle ONLY goes back and forth to the airport, not the local area. This runs every 1/2 hour, not on demand so plan accordingly. There are a few restaurants (Hooters, Dennys) that are within walking distance from the hotel without having to cross any major roads. Many more nearby.

We only stayed at this property because it's Marriot and it's close to the airport with our flight being early the next morning. Despite the name and reputation, this hotel and our overall experience was subpar. First, we came to our room to find the toilet clogged. Of course, we didn't know this when our kids hit the bathroom after our long trip, and after the 3 of them took care of business, the toilet overflowed, completely flooding the bathroom and into the hall. We called down to get some help and after a couple tries of calling the front desk with no one answering, we finally got through and they said they would send maintenance to take a look. A few minutes later, a gentleman arrived that was there to give us more towels. He had no idea about our toilet and just had towels. He was very confused. A few minutes after he left the maintenance worker arrived. He went in the bathroom and plunged the toilet, flushed it once, and then told us there was nothing wrong. He wiped up the water from the floor with the towels, took the towels, and left. He was not very polite at all and I'm not sure why he would tell us there was no problem considering the water overflowed everywhere. No one cleaned up the floor either, this WAS used toilet water! We put towels down on the floor and tried to avoid the toilet in our room as much as we could the remainder of our stay, which luckily was until early the next morning. To top it all off, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Very polite people a must for family to come.

The kiddy pool had algae and it was very noisy when trying to sleep at night.

I really like this place I diffently will be back first I like they pick me up from the airport I arrived late and when I got there my room was ready but baby when I Opened that door it was beautiful the pictures online doesn't show no justice and Please don't go by the negative reviews you will miss out on a great stay like I almost did I'm Blessed I chose them. Trust me you want go wrong. I have found my new spot away from home every time I'm in Orlando Florida!

Nice room, really pretty! You have to pay for parking and WiFi!?? Super lame! That is almost always included everywhere else! Pool was very nice but what I wanted after a long day was a hot tub to relax in. They have something that looks like a hot tub but it was more like a luke warm kiddy pool. I was underwhelmed staying here

Francisco put a family of four in a room with one king bed. We had booked a two queen room. We were very hungry and he suggested we use the vending machines. Very poor customer service.

We had a flight cancellation and booked this hotel last minute on Christmas Eve. Free shuttle was convenient to and from the airport. Staff was friendly and hospitable. Family friendly hotel. We weren’t there long but was a nice comfortable place to stay overnight. One downside is that indoor pool is attached to outdoor pool so too cold for our little ones to go swimming.

Everything for money, no microwave in the room, we have a baby, need to go down lobby to use the microwave horrible
