SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Miramar

Good hotel, the kids had fun at the pool, the breakfast was ok, eggs sausage and yogurt, pretty basic but fine to me. Had to ask for extra sheets for the 5th person in the room, knowing that is a reservation for 5 it would be nice to have the room all ready for that but ok to me.

This property was clean and the staff was professional and friendly. The size of the room was great for me and my family. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was in excellent condition and the room was big. It was comfortable for a big family like mine.

After two Airbnb cancelled on me last minute, I found this hotel on Expedia and booked it right away, it accommodated me and my family…the room was so spacious, clean….the bathroom was a nice and big and even the closet was huge. I’ll definitely stay again and hopefully be able to have time for breakfast!

I called 2 weeks ahead of check-in to confirm my reservation and confirm a late check in of around 11pm. When I arrived I was informed that the hotel was overbooked for the night and that my room had been given to another guest. Leaving my and children to find alternative lodging. Unacceptable from a Marriott. Will never book a room here again.

When I checked in, I got a room on the ground floor due to other rooms not available. I encountered a dead baby frog on the bathroom floor next to the toilet & immediately notified the agent that checked me in. She changed my room to another on the 4th floor. That night while taking a shower, I noticed mildew on the racks that held the bodywash, shampoo & conditioner bottles & ants were on the desk in the sitting area. The following morning, after I opened the curtains, I noticed 1 of the pillowcases were stained. I didn't escalate it because they were scheduled to clean my room in any event. I still had to ask for drinking cups to be replenished after having to go downstairs and get some. The following morning, I rolled on the opposite side of where I slept on the bed, & a disgusting toe or fingernail scraped my thigh. I called front desk & the agent said his power was limited as to what he can do but he will let the manager know. I left a note on the bed with the nail, stating to change the bedding. I still went downstairs & spoke directly to the front desk agent who took my call & asked for the manager. He said the manager was out until Tuesday (it was Sunday) so I asked for the supervisor & reported my issues to her. She assured me she would have someone take care of the issues. The alarm clock went off unexpectedly at 6am the 1st morning, which was annoying. I called the front desk agent to inquire about the breakfast menu & she was unable to tell me specifically.

Nice hotel, big rooms, and a great hotel staff! Safe location and easy commute to the Florida turnpike. The free breakfast was not good. Good coffee though 👍. The first night was horrible due to an extremely large group traveling and staying at the hotel. It was loud, hard to sleep with kids yelling and adults walking loudly down hallway and playing loud booming music after 10pm and early the next morning loud people on our floor. But that’s not the hotels fault, just those guests near us not being considerate of other hotels guests staying in same hotel trying get rest. Overall I would stay again here.

My stay with my family was a great one, clean, and with friendly staff.

It was a great hotel for our family of 5, very spacious, clean, breakfast was fenomenal with a variety of food.

Excellent stay and a VERY clean hotel! We loved our time in Ft Lauderdale as we travel a lot for volleyball tournaments, this was a convenient location to where we were visiting. Perfect for families since they have a nice breakfast too.
