Best Western Plus Miami Executive Airport Hotel & Suites

First off I wanna say to the Asian front desk clerk. I’m sorry I did not write down your name. But I give her 10 plus 10 God-sent. This hotel experience added to my faith in God. He will put the right people in your path. Late Friday night I made a reservation at Best Western. I called ahead to find out what’s the earliest time that we could check in. The front desk guy said if a room is available no earlier than 1:00pm We were going to arrive at 6am. I shook my head but what could I do. We had spent just about a whole day in the airports. It was brutal. We were like zombies. We came in the hotel and put our bags in the corner and sat in the lobby. Our heads were like the bobble heads trying to fight off sleep. I looked at the time and it was 9:00 am. I stood up and went to service desk. I asked the young lady what will be the earliest time that we could check in and she look and said let me check you in now. She said she saw us out there and felt for us. She was genuinely sympathetic. I love it!! She also continued to work with me to extend my room for another night. To the management: This young lady works morning shifts 7am-4pm. She deserves a raise or some type of bonus. She is taking care of customers please take care of her. I came down and told her what blessings she was to my kids and I. We all showered and one by one we played down and were out like lightning. So the room wasn’t the best that I have seen there. But her thoughtfulness trumps it all. BWP kudos!

Location was great to get to shopping and family in the area.

I booked this hotel on Expedia thinking it was close to the airport… wrong airport!! We had a $100 cab ride with our family of 6 after landing at Miami airport. This is next to Miami executive airport instead. A gentleman behind us at check-in did the same thing. The property and rooms are very nice but just be sure when booking that you do not need it near Miami airport.

This hotel used to be amazing years ago. Now the front desk attendants are not kind of friendly at all. The mattress seem so old and used that are really kind of uncomfortable/ icky to sleep in. Overall the bathrooms are clean. The bedrooms AC make unstoppable noice and leaks water (ours had a disgusting cup to collect the water from the leak probably had been there for a long time because it was brown). The rooms are cleaned every 3 days even if you ask for them to be cleaned sooner they respond “it’s not included” (very weird and inconvenient for families). Breakfast is not what it used to be, but it’s eatable. I hope they improve because this hotel has a special spot in my heart. All the memories we made in this place and how good it used o me.

We use this property regularly when we have family members in town.

The room was really spacious and clean. Has lot of amenities for the stay and the breakfast was a blast with different menus daily. Personally one of the best hotels we stayed in as a family, highly recommended!

A very welcoming hotel for families. Nice bar on sight and the hot breakfast is a perfect way to start the day. Everyone is nice and friendly here.

Front desk was a little unprofessional. He could not find my reservation neither by the name nor by reservation number. I told we will need a crib for the baby, but he did not bring as he promised in 10-15 min. I got down to remind him, as i wanted to pit the baby to sleep. Only after my call again( 3d time reminder), he brought it. And guess what? That was just a pack and play which did not work. Rails would not be installed! Crazy.. i had to call again, and he brought the other one. By that time the baby got use to lay down on the parent’s bed and never went into the crib. Everybody was tired , so we agreed to put the baby in between us. Especially the mattress in the crib was crinkled, because it is just a foldable I thing. I don’t want my baby to be in a torture. So I could not sleep comfortable and solid, because it was a helicopter around me all night long… Despite of all the bed is very comfortable. The good thing- no disturbing sounds from the hall and rooms, grateful! Clean, spacious room.

I was trying to give other hotels a chance because my family always book with Hilton hotels. But this time we tried Best Western Plus Miami. The hotel front office wasn't welcoming at all, we had to ask for towels several times. I hate the three day cleaning policy, we checked in on a Friday but our room was never cleaned or fresh towels the entire time we were at the hotel. My suggestion please change the cleaning policy, maybe every other day for cleaning, please train your front office staff to be more welcoming and not be in the back office trying to ignore guest and continue with their conversation when a guest is at the front. Customer service is everything and I never seen it at this hotel. I usually share my hotel experience on my friends travel blog. I will never try another Best Western again, so I didn't share this experience due to I only want to share my happy experience on her blog.
