AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Dadeland

The hotel itself is in a great location and adjacent to Dadeland Mall. The pool is very nice and I like the little covered family lounges. The bar snd music were also a plus. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very chic. The bed was cozy. The front desk staff were all friendly and accommodating. The hotel is walking distance to quite a few restaurants and the Metrorail. I love the free parking and the ability to park our truck with trailer in the lot. We intend to return soon!

This is a great property for a stay. I booked this for three days based on reviews on Expedia. The parking is free. Park on the third level and there is an entrance into the second floor of the hotel as well as an entrance to the mall. The bar/lounge is right there and the pool is behind the bar (behind a curtain). Very easy in and out. Pool is OK - not for lap swimming but a quick cool off or for kids. Room was nice, bed very comfortable, TV service good with internet options (we signed into Netflix - don't forget to sign out!), fridge in room and microwave in hall along with ice and water refill. Negative was that the bathroom has a sliding opaque glass door that doesn't completely block the room. If you are concerned about bathroom sounds or someone (teens) being able to see you on the potty or in the shower, then it's a problem. Otherwise, very pleased. Located close to shopping and highways. Would recommend.

The night front desk lady was amazing! Other than that, it's okay. It's definitely loud. You can hear everything from outside your room. We have a toddler so we make sure everything is clean especially the bathroom. Came in, and there are hair on the toilet and all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast was expensive for what is offered.

From the moment you entered, the place smelled clean and everyone was smiling. The modern clean lines. The pool was just great to use. The mall was a fun bonus for the family on different schedules. I have stayed in many places in Miami, felt very safe and extremely clean.

We came for my daughter's graduation from the University of Miami. We had a whole beautiful weekend and a big family attending and looked forward to sitting at the pool. In fact, we planned that as a large part of the weekend. The information on expedia said the pool opened in April. The hotel's website said nothing about the pool being closed. When we got there, the sign on the pool said it was closed. We inquired and the management had not information about an opening date. We asked for the hotel to call other Marriott Hotels in the area to obtain permission for us to use their pools. The response was "it's a liability" and they will say no so you should just sneak into the hotel. They offered no other assistance. Almost unbelievable for a Marriott. In addition, we inquired with Expedia to request a pass to another hotel in the area through Expedia. Again, they simply said no we can't do that. It was beyond frustrating and I am so disappointed by the Marriott.
