The Goodtime Hotel

I love the look and feel of this property! It just really makes you happy. It is walking distance from Miama beach, on a bustling block with restaurants and convenience stores. The front desk staff were nice and responsive. However, the staff at the bar near the pool did not provide customer service at all. I went from Sunday-Tuesday and they barely served all guests drinks and just chatted with a particular group of guests. I did have water which I served myself. The pool should also be adults only everyday. I came to this hotel to solely relax at the pool, but didn’t have that experience because of the constant cannonballs from children. I just left the pool, so they could have good time. Overall, my experience decent but I really things this hotel should be adults only and some bar staff need to be trained on how to be kind and responsive to guests.

I am sorry to say that this hotel was a big disappointment. I have stayed all over the world traveling for personal& work and I had high hopes for this hotel and its famous owners. I saw the pool on the website photos and well designed spaces and was so looking forward to my stay with my 12 yr old son. We receive an email the night before leaving telling us the pool is a party on weekends and closed to those under 21. Shocked I immediately respond to hotel saying that this was my primary reason for staying there is there some miscommunication? If so, I wanted to cancel my reservation immediately. No answer and too busy to follow up. Arrive at hotel& indeed no kids allowed. NA-DA. Very disappointed, express disappointment w/the hotel by telling me we can go to the lame pool next door kids ok &that by the way pay the resort fee of $50/day. I was disgusted but could not drive around looking for another hotel. They offered "room upgrade"& 2 vouchers for a coffee and a pastry for next morning as a consolation prize for this complete bomb blowing up our trip. My son was so uncomfortable with this forbidden pool he refused to go to the one next door and we ended up on the beach instead. The "beach area" for the hotel is not what you would expect-it is public beach with a few chairs. Also-if you want an umbrella they get you more upcharges. I had to call 3x in 40 minutes to get towels to shower in room. One thing after another. Staff at front desk terrible with cust. service. 👎

Rooms very small I was there 4 days and they behave a pool party all 4 days they don’t admit people under 21 to the pool and they always making you to get a ristband no ideal for family

This property was a great place to stay for a week. They have almost daily activities such as weekend pool parties with DJ, a comedy night, we had a night with live jazz and karaoke. All free of charge with drinks and apps available. The area was quite walkable we did not get any rentals. All of the restaurants were good that we went to. Be prepared to spend money though! And be patient with all the service staff, a lot of them don’t speak a lot of English or have very strong accents. Everyone was nice though! Take advantage of the beach loungers and complimentary bikes! The pool was very chill with great drinks at the bar. Mostly adult establishment. Very few if any children.

I just gave birth to baby twins and was looking for a week of rest near the ocean. I cannot say enough good things about the Goodtime. It was clean and safe and offered the very best balance between work and play. Furthermore, its down town location was very central. The staff were incredibly kind and gracious to me at all times. The amenities are incredibly beautiful. I give this place a 10 our of 10! the only downfalls are that there are parties on the weekend at the pool - however, the option to enjoy another hotel pool is fantastic. Lastly, the hotel does take almost 1000 USD for incidentals which was a surprise - but they give it all back at the end of the stay. The goodtime hotel was magical and I look forward to coming every year.

Very unique hotel beautiful interior , friendly staff , comfortable room and bed although a little small but you don’t need much more than this. coffee machine not available in the room so you have to buy your coffee every morning. the pool area is gorgeous with events going on all weekend. Drinks and food are pricey at the hotel. Much recommend spot for solo travels and couples without kids. Close to many restaurants and to the beach. Will definitely return again.

The hotel is really nice and a good experience. I love that it was pet friendly and no kids. The beds at the pool and the seats at the cafe are dirty and could use some replacement. The food was amazing along with the drinks. The rooms are very small. I did a king room which is a standard size room in another hotel. They have great healthy food options and great activities to do through out the week. The location is close to everything and I shall return.
