Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville South Bartram Prk, an IHG Hotel

We travel for baseball tournament and it was perfect the service, the staff everything was beyond expectations and the kids loved it

My family and I had a great stay here. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Also, I really appreciated front desk calling me because we left a backpack in the room after check out. It was just in time to come back and pick it up.

The staff was warm and welcoming and friendly and helpful. They were like distant family and i will be returning to location whenever im visiting the city. Rooms were clean and comfortable and they use DOVE products so that was a plus.

Pros: Property was clean, quiet, conveniently located to lots of shopping & dining options, was conveniently located to both venues we were attending concerts at & to St Augustine where we met family for a night out! They also offered a great breakfast, had all the amenities you would need & the staff was very friendly! Cons: I drive a larger pickup truck & parking was a challenge when getting in late after going out all 3 nights we were there. We parked on the street in front of the property as there were semis & box trucks parked out there. Also, it was disappointing to see only 2 lounge chairs at the pool. Our first visit to the pool there was one other woman there using a lounge chair. My husband had to sit up in one of only 3 patio chairs that were by the pool. Doesn’t make for a relaxing day at the pool. Luckily, there were no other visitors on our second visit. If anyone had come after us, I would’ve felt guilty using the only 2 lounge chairs there! The addition of maybe 6 more lounge chairs would be a great addition to the pool area. All in all, we had a great stay at a great price & if my travels bring me to this area again, I’d definitely stay here!

Very clean and family oriented

Pro: staff was always present and helpful especially when due to our travel times, my family and I had to check in at 1:40a and checkout at 2a. Quick and easy both directions Cons: pillows were too soft. No support so had trouble sleeping even with extra pillows

Great place to stay. Very convenient. Our room was very nice, the bed was amazing The only complaint I had was the window. Our windows looked like kids ran their hands all over it & the maid never cleaned it the whole time we were there.

The only negative issue was that my older sister almost fell in the tub because it was so slick. So the next morning we asked the girls that came with clean towels if we could get a bath mat. One of the girls put her phone up to my sisters face and said speak, my sister ask for a bath mat, they both looked at each other and walked away. Neither spoke English or tried to help us. We ask two others workers, got the same response. Then we went downstairs and finally got results and we’re given a bath mat. We stayed 3 nights, 2 days. Room was never cleaned, trash never emptied, beds were not made, dirty towels never taken away, only received towels 1 time and we had to go down to the front desk to get our own towels that next evening. Loved the breakfast night time counter staff was very friendly. Chris was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at this location before and recommend it to our family because it is so close to where my daughter and son in law live and my new very first granddaughter! This was the first time we had any issue here so I hope this will not happen in the future. Thank you
