We had a wonderful stay! It was nice getting texts from Mary and Jamil asking if there was anything we needed and looked forward to our staying again. We will definitely be staying at Tru by Hilton South Mandarin each time we come to Jacksonville to see our kids and grandchildren!!

The property was amazing and our stay was awesome! We were greeted by Mary upon our arrival and we were on our honeymoon and in town to visit family . Mary was amazing, courteous, very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and such a pleasure to deal with! Thank you for everything! We will be back!

The room was large and clean. Staff was very attentive. Walk in shower for our older traveler was a blessing. Breakfast options were “meh”. The hotel is VERY close to the highway. I travel with a noise machine, but when it was off the traffic noise was awful. That said, we would definitely stay here again for the location near family and the value of the cost.

It was a great stay. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was very kind and accommodating. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is right near the highway for easy access. My family members had the hot breakfast and they were very happy with it.

The front desk staff was wonderful and the hotel itself plus the room was very clean. Only cons were the beds feel like cots as they are squeaky and move very easily. The lobby is fun and engaging, especially for families, as there’s games to play and bright colors.

Omg! You don’t get a desk in your room, you basically get a tv tray on wheels. Never before have put my head on a pillow that was stuffed with air but these were. As soon as you put your head on them, they deflated to flat. But hey, the bed and concrete slabs have a lot in common. Both are equally as uncomfortable to sleep on. This hotel should not be in the Hilton family, it has more in common with motel 6.

There is no closet storage in the room and a bit small. Fine for a single traveler but not for families.
