Based on reviews, I expected spectacular. The room was nice and spacious but it was definitely worn. The toilet paper holder wouldn’t stay on the wall and the security lock on the door was not screwed in properly and was on the verge of falling off. For a one night stay before boarding a cruise, it was perfect. My kids loved the kids suite and the feeling of having their own room.

Hotel was clean and breakfast was mediocre. Room was clean and TV channels worked. I would rate this hotel a good stay for family with Kids, as it was in a safe place with lots of shopping facilities in the neighborhood.

Nice hotel. Left turn out of property very difficult. Entry road narrow & dim after dark.
Takes forever to get hot water in shower! Breakfast meh; gym meh, pool&hot tub, firepit, outdoor kitchen area great (may be noisy weekends).
Front desk attitude varies with staff. One very nice, the others just there.
King studio configuration a little awkward but it worked. Had to switch to that studio when a Sun. stay was needed & King suite not available (cruise traffic). We had free parking. Not sure about cruise parking fees.
Room was very nice & quite clean on check-in; but after that, housekeeping was not very responsive outside of their 3-day schedule (they woke us up at 9:15 on our only off morning).
Nice comfy pillows and great mattress! Big TV. Table & chairs.
Be aware, weekend rates are higher than the discounted weekday rate I was quoted. We were actually charged 3 different rates (? I will be asking) so total for a week’s stay was over $2000. Having a little shell-shock after 25 yrs. RV travel!
First time in a hotel for visiting family in Merritt Island. Will consider next visit, but might try another.

The staff was great and friendly, especially the cleaning ladies and breakfast staff.
The only not-great situation was being kicked out of the dining room at 10pm (the only place open to play some cards or board games with family).

First just let me say JEWEL is awesome, very friendly and there needs to be more of her in the world and hospitality industry. She went above and beyond for me and my family when we arrived just a lil bit early.

It doesn't make much sense to close deck/pool area @ sundown when you have a firepit, games outside... when families travel it would be nice to be able to sit outside to hang out.

Our family had traveled 8 1/2 hours from GA to Port Canaveral for a cruise and were exhausted. We arrived around 8 PM. At about 2 in the morning, the AC in the hotel room started rattling loudly and woke us up. We shut it off and tried to sleep but the room was too warm. So we tried the AC again. The sound was loud like a plane engine. We were deliriously tired and tried to sleep anyway.
By 6 AM, we were frustrated and more exhausted. We went to the front desk with audio of the AC to explain the issue. They said they would give us $20. $20?? Because we didn't come to them at 2 AM to switch rooms and because we tried to make it work so we could sleep, they said $20 off a $230 room was all they could do.
We called Expedia from the hotel room, who called the hotel management. They offered $35 instead of $20. They said we could decline the offer and speak with management later in the morning, but we had to get to our cruise ship. We took the $35 deal and beat feet out of there.
The entire ordeal was a farce. Even if we had dragged our family of 6 downstairs at 2 AM, then changed rooms, our sleep was STILL interrupted. Period.
I don't think a good night's sleep and some understanding are too much to ask of a hotel. Do you?
We did not feel taken care of, we did not feel rested. We felt patronized.
I won't recommend this hotel nor will I visit again.

Construction on the property severely limited parking availability. Once inside we found that both our rooms were not vacuumed and trash on the floor from previous tenants. The bathroom door had rusted hinges in serious need or some lubrication and water damage around the room window.
The only bright spot was excellent staff who were more then helpful. This hotel had been recommended by family but after this it will not be on our short list for future stays.
