Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel & Suites

We stayed 3 nights on a family trip. We were leaving for a cruise after from Port Canaveral. Our oceanfront room was nice and the beds were super comfy. A few negatives-I noticed a lot of dirt and things under and behind the couch bed, so cleaning needs improved in that area. The TV remotes are not the best functioning. Need better coffeemakers and ice trays for freezer would have been nice to have since the buckets are so big and don’t fit. The breakfast location was pretty far from our oceanfront building and it ended at 9am, so we didn’t utilize it. Laundry access was really handy and did the job for a decent cost. They also have machines to buy detergent and softeners. Overall a good stay for the price!

Check in was easy, and quick. Our room was a family suite. It was ok. The room appeared clean at first sight. But as we settled in for the evening, there was obvious signs it could use a good wipe down. There was a lot of dust settle around, there was fake eyelash on the sheets, and the bedding didn’t smell clean. It looked clean, but had an odor . I didn’t complain, bc we were happy otherwise. The breakfast was awesome. A lot of choices. There was ample room for eating and the breakfast attendants were very nice.

This property was awful! The door to our room wouldn't open and i had to put my shoulder into it to open and now have an appointment with my dr for my shoulder just from teying to get my room door open. The walls were so thin, we could hear the people next to us urinating, kids screaming, and even the people above us just walking around was soooooo loud. We could even hear the people in the next room snoring.The shower curtain was about 4 inches to short and water got everywhere.the pillow cases stunk and smelled like they hadnt been washed. The location was good but unfortunately our room was not and definitely not worth the money we spent on it. Everyone on staff was very nice and helpful.

The property was outdated, including very old and uncomfortable mattresses, linen, pillows. Common grounds were dirty with trash and cigarettes, the pool area also had trash, never had pool towels available and both pools were never cleaned. Housekeeping was available daily,however only dropped off new towels and toiletries. The restaurant on site, had a kid menu, but was not kid friendly. The only positive was the breakfast in the morning and the only clean space was the lobby. I would not recommend this location to any family with children.

Clean room. Very close to beach- perfect location. Good breakfast. Great for a family getaway!

Location was awesome…right by the beach. However, the property is pretty run down old. It really needs a fresh update. Also there were bugs…kept finding these little black bugs…looks like baby roaches…in the bathroom. I’m sure there were in the room but you just can’t see them in the carpet. Breakfast was below par. Best to just drive down the the street to Waffle House.

We had a great stay! Staff was friendly and welcoming from the front desk, to house keeping and the ladies that helped prepare and keep the breakfast area stocked. Check in was fast and easy and the staff made sure that any questions were answered before heading to our room. The property itself has multiple buildings with rooms, on site restaurant and an area for breakfast dining and seating. Property was clean and close to the pier, restaurants(check out The Old Fish House for some amazing seafood, and Papa Vito’s for the best pizza and pasta), and grocery stores. We stayed in a junior suite and it had an ocean view.The room was spacious and quiet, clean bathroom and comfortable beds. Kennedy Space Center is a short drive from the hotel and we were able catch a Space X launch from the balcony of our room. The view of the beach was perfect, especially during sunrise. It was relaxing to sit out on the balcony and watch the local surfers and the cruise ships as they were heading out to sea. The beach was easily accessed from the hotel property and there was also a little picnic and grill area and two pools. The free breakfast was good and filling, there were many options and the fresh pancakes were a plus for our two teens. Rooms were freshened up daily and front desk staff was available 24/7. I highly recommend the Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel and Suited.

The AC in our room was not working, and my family of 6 in the Family Suite were so miserable during the stay. It was 80 degrees in our room all night. Staff tried fixing the issue but was unable to, and did not switch us rooms. We were able to get a full refund through Travelocity, so I was definitely happy about that!

Very comfortable stay. We were here overnight before a cruise out of Port Canaveral. Great location on the beach and walking distance to some restaurants. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Standard breakfast items. My kids liked the popcorn in the lobby and hanging at the pool, which was also clean.

Our stay was a one-night trip for a family of 5. We had a suite and it was just fine. There was a balcony, room with our beds and a seperate living area with a sofa bed and a kitchen. Lobby was in one building and our suite was in another building(short walk). Hotel is a little older looking inside and out for the rate we paid but it worked. Short walk to the the beach, pier and many eating places near by. We arrived early and they were able to get us into a room which was wonderful. We immediatly went to the beach and back to the hotel's pool. Our short stay was nice. I recommend purchasing the shuttle ticket from the hotel if you are going to get on a cruise. $10/person was a deal. I would stay here again.
