Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port

From beginning to the end everything was great! Joslyn and ludie at the front desk were so accommodating and made my stressful situation better. Place is clean, breakfast choices were great and my kids really enjoyed the pool. The manager was awesome and helpful as well and ready to assist all when needed. They really went above and beyond. My new go to hotel in fort Lauderdale.

The place is just clean enough to not be considered dirty. But I would not consider it immaculate. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fine. The kids enjoyed the pool and the place is conveniently located next to a super market and other stores/fast food places. The free shuttle from the airport was great and it is a quick trip to the cruise ship port. A good spot for an overnight stay.

Mostly great, but bad faucet design. A lot of water ends up on the counter and runs onto the floor, particularly when kids are washing hands.

Staff and location was fabulous! Will definitely stay here again and also recommend to friends and family. The call to get picked up at the airport was disappointing however. Despite the kindness of strangers at the airport calling the hotel shuttle telephone line for us, we were waiting for over 5 minutes for a customer service agent but no one picked up. Fortunately, the driver for a different Hampton Inn hotel location shuttle gave us a ride otherwise we would have had to take a taxi as a last resort to the hotel.

It was perfect for our family

We requested a room for 5 and when we got there they said they don’t have any rooms for 5 people!!! Check in was not at 3 either. We had to wait until 4. We were traveling with a toddler! Bathroom downstairs didn’t have toilet paper. Very dissatisfied

When I first arrived with four small children there were no working bathrooms in the lobby area. After checking in it was evident that this hotel was in a questionable area which was not family friendly.

On my way to the airport earlier in the day, I called the hotel to check about scheduling the shuttle. The women told me, call this same number once you and and retrieve your luggage. I asked is this 24/7? Her reply was “yes”. Landed around 11:00 Pm, picked up luggage and called at 11:32 pm. The women who answered transferred me to the driver. He directed me to go to the letter E on the sidewalk for hotel shuttle pickups, we did that. After waiting 28 minutes, I called at exactly midnight, the lady on the line connected me with the driver as she did the first time I called, however this time he told me the shuttle stops at 11:30 pm!?!? WHAT? I ended up taking a taxi. PISS POOR SHUTTLE SERVICE! Upon checking in I found out the elevator is broken and our room is on the third floor, we need to use the stairs. By the way this is not just me, traveling alone. It’s a family of four with a 10 year old daughter. We had to get our luggage through the stairwell to the third floor. This part I would not complain about typically. In fact most of the time I wouldn’t even right a bad review. But this was a poor experience. I am glad it was a one night stay just to lay our heads after the late night flight.

I booked this hotel because of the reviews and it did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly, they got us checked in to our room early and they held our bags for us while our room wasn’t ready! The breakfast was good and my kids loved watching the ducks that hang out in front of the hotel!
