Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ft Lauderdale Airport/Cru, an IHG Hotel

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very clean and the staff were ALL amazing!! Definitely would recommend.

I spent 1 nights with my family and everything was excellent, comfortable beds, very good cleaning, very friendly staff and good breakfast. Just 10 minutes from the airport which is very convenient.

Got to the hotel late with my family after missing our flight at Ft Lauderdale airport and we reserved a room with two beds to accommodate us. But when we arrived, they told us that all they had was a room with a king size bed…for my family of 4 (including 2 infants). We made the booking through the Expedia app so they said they couldn’t give us any money back on the booking and to take it up with Expedia. Expedia said they would move us to a different hotel but we were already up past our children’s bed time and just wanted to go to sleep because we have to be up at 4:30 AM for a flight. Completely unacceptable customer service. And the hotel smells like cheap perfume trying to mask the smells. Would not stay here again and will not be using Expedia to book hotel rooms ever again. Beware you may not receive what you booked and paid for.

Our reservation was changed from a suite to a 2 queen bed room and as a family of 5 this made things very tight. We should receive the rooms we booked.

This is a joke. I am being asked to review a Hotel that cancelled my reservation without letting me know. I had paid for this hotel room. Hotel cancelled my reservation because the hotel wanted to get more money for the room on a busy weekend. They left my family stranded with no place to go. Expedia couldn't book us anywhere else because all hotels in the area were full. THIS BUSINESS SUCKS AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT PEOPLE ONLY PROFITS.

Overall not bad however night stand and bathroom had tiny bugs. Sugar ants or baby roaches.

The staff at the front desk went above and beyond to help us as our stay was the result of having a family at the hospital ER. They were so helpful and we appreciated them very much

I liked that there is a McDonalds across the street that was open till 11p.m. We were able to walk over and get some food. What I didn't like was that we were promised a shuttle and a call back to give me an ETA and we didn't get either. We waited 3 hrs for a shuttle and finally gave up and paid for a Lyft. Lyft arrived within 20 min of requesting a ride. There were other Holiday Inn shuttles coming regularly, but neither were from the one that we were staying in. Its unfortunate because it was our first time coming to Fort Lauderdale and it was off to a bad start. Our plane landed around 7:20 and we got to the hotel after 10. My children were hungry, so we were pleased to learn that McDonalds was still open.
