Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale

Second time staying my family loved it. I will definitely book again on my next trip to FLL.

Excellent hotel, first time staying here and my family and I really enjoyed it!! Worth the booking!!

Super nice hotel! My boyfriend and I went here on our baby moon! It was definitely what we expected and more. We were very happy with the location, staff, cleanliness, and the room was perfect! I would definitely stay here again! Only thing I wish could change was the hours of the pool/bike rentals. I wish they were open later in the evening. But that’s just my preference. Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Great location, but valet parking is tight & $38/night. Facility was basic- swimming pool and gym. Unfortunately the ground was very wet and slippery and my kid fell on his back. Also had an incident after our room was cleaned. There was a roach in the bathroom. The staff decided to “waive” the designation fee for our troubles. Checked my bill and it was left on there- had to go back to remind them and another staff member asked the same questions and made it known that the original staff member never “waived” the fee. I really was looking forward to the stay but left for another hotel feeling lukewarm about the Hyatt. Only upside is it’s next to the water taxi and walking distance to all of the fun spots on Las Olas.

The hotel is managed and kept by the friendliest staff. Very welcoming and hospitable. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern - you feel like you’re in the heart of a big city (if you’re looking for quaint, this may not be for you). We spent a bunch of time at the pool, which is rooftop and overlooks the surrounding streets from the top of the 8th floor. The kids had a blast, even if it felt cold and breezy when the sun was covered (there are several high rise buildings around so you don’t get direct sunlight for long…at least in late February!). We didn’t eat onsite as we opted to try some of the nearby spots and also drove into Miami a few nights. Excellent location, walkable and surrounded by just about everything you need while vacationing. The riverwalk is beautiful and Las Olas Blvd is a great spot for dining and some shopping. It felt very safe. The beach is an enjoyable (flat) 2.5 mile walk. My wife and I did the walk with our two boys and they had fun looking at the big boats and beautiful houses that line up about a mile’s worth of the walk. The beach is gorgeous! We had a blast swimming, people watching, and even playing some beach soccer with a beach ball that we picked up at a local Target. This was a great trip for us, and we’re sad to head to our cold New England winter. It’s a place we would come back to, for sure.

This hotel is the best we stayed in whole of 2023 in Las Olas Ft Lauderdale, FL. Staff was amazing and very friendly to us and our kid, restaurant is great, room was great with balcony view to the river (not 100 river is visible but we could see the part). I would love to stay here again when I visit next.

Hotel is clean and beautiful. Staff is great . The drawbacks , only valet parking available at a cost. There’s no parking choice available. Paper thin wall . I felt like the next room guests was in my room. I can hear everything crystal clear. Babies crying and screaming. Absolutely no privacy. I was about to call down and my wife said it’s a baby . 😊

My husband and I stayed there after we eloped. The stay was fabulous and the staff sent a comped bottle of champs to our room. I do have one complaint. Many friends and family called ahead and tried to arrange something special at the hotel. They were all told that the reservation could not be found. It seems this was a top down decision. I feel the hotel could handle this situation better in the future. Front desk staff could be trained to say that this certain hotel does not accommodate requests such as that anymore for so and so reason as opposed to lie to my friends and family who are just trying to do something nice and then they get worried that we don’t have a reservation.

A stay at the Hyatt is always amazing. I had an amazing experience; there were lots of friendly and informative staff. I will continue to stay at the Hyatt and its chain hotels, while also recommending them to friends, family and acquaintances.

The water in the toilet appeared yellow as if urine was present even after flushing repeatedly and the floor smelled of weed when i specifically requested a nonsmoking floor with my 2 minor kids present. The restroom fan didn’t work, and the lock on the restroom door was also broken. For the amount i was charged, I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed in the outcome of my stay at this property.
