Oasis Hotel

This is my second year staying at the Oasis and it did not disappoint. So quaint and the owner takes great care of the property! This is the first year I brought my kids with me and even they loved the garden on the property. This hotel has everything you need especially when you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head after a long day at the beach. I love the convenience of the Walgreens and Starbucks across the street and close proximity to other restaurants including 15th street fisheries which I HIGHLY recommend!

I have to say the service was fantastic, we arrived earlier than check-in and Yulia at the desk met us and had them clean our room next so we could in there with our infant. She called when it was ready, brought us a pack-n-play, and texted later to make sure it was all okay. Room was great, plenty of space. Loved the tile in the bath! Starbucks and Walgreens within walking distance, really close to a lot of things. kitchenette w/burner µwave, coffee, plates. The issues began when we returned from dinner. We had set up the pack-n-play in the kitchenette (there are black-out curtains to block most of the outdoor lights but it was the darkest spot) and as we got into bed immediately realized the amount of noise coming from the street. All night we were awoken by blaring music and speeding cars. I understand this may not bother some big city dwellers, and with the layout why the bed is at the front near the street/door and the couch is in the back towards the quieter courtyard, but if we'd stayed more that one night we would have switched beds. Then as we were leaving early the next morning for the airport the sprinklers were on in front of our door and over walkways, making us play frogger to get to the cab dry (I lost). I understand most hotel guests aren't outside at 6am, but I would have appreciated a heads up since there was no way to avoid them. It looked cute in the courtyard, & wish we'd had more time to explore the rest of the property - but just wasn't for us!

The room was great. Very clean, good quality stuff, modern look. Probably wouldn't be my top choice for travelling with young kids like we did, but it went fine. My husband and I are eyeing it for a repeat visit just the two of us though! The outdoor area is lovely, with lots of cozy spots to sit and relax, and beautiful plants and flowers. It felt very private despite being in a heavily populated area. Great price too. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem to others!

This is a quiet area, great for families. There are lots of activities and restaurants within walking distance at reasonable prices. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful.
