Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Airport West, an IHG Hotel

We love this location - we stay there each time we visit our child at NOVA Southeastern!

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. Great customer service from Hasina at breakfast. Will recommend to family and friends.

We arrived after 10 pm and waited 35min at the airport for the shuttle to show up although we were told that it would only take 20min maximum. Other than that everything was perfect. The checkin was fast and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had a lot of choices. All in all a great pre-cruise stay with kids.

A small group of us wanted to stay initially where our concert was being held at hard Rock Seminole hotel. But the cost to stay there was three times the price of this place. Although I was hesitant to stay somewhere I was unfamiliar with it was an absolutely outstanding decision. All of us slept like babies in a very puffy cloud. The service was impeccable, the room was immaculate and again they have the most comfortable beds I've ever slept. The included breakfast was not some silly little buffet it was the works and anytime we needed anything there is always someone there to assist and accommodate. There is absolutely nothing negative I could bring up. Thank you all for making a random decision turn out sincerely great!

We arrived very late after many delayed flights. Front desk staff was wonderful. He was very welcoming & gave us a late checkout. We’ve stayed here many times as it’s close proximity to family in the area. Lots of nice improvements with the renovations. Breakfast staff are always nice too!

This was a lengthly stay for myself and family and I must compliment Mr. Ahmmed Chowdhury, the General Manager , as well as his staff. Everyone was wonderful in their interaction, from Blanca in Housekeeping to Ameera, who ran the breakfast bar during the week. The breakfast bar offered hot and cold foods and a nice selection of fruit and lighter items. The omlets were good. The caring attitude came from the top down and it showed. We had a Queen Suite, which provided ample room for me, using a walker. The shower was accessible, the fridge was ice cold and the room was clean and quiet. They repainted the freshly repaved lot, while I was there, which was alittle tricky getting into and out of that day; however,the contractors were conscious of that and tried to accomodate the in and out traffic as best the could. Very convenient for those traveling as airport is close by. close options for meals - Waffle House on one side, Wawa (which has good food made to order) on the other. Also close to Publix and a CVS if needed.

I was coming to Hard Rock for two nights of concert, I thought Holiday in Express would be a convenient place to stay, and it was. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I stayed in Holiday Inn Express last month with my grandchildren in Rocky Mount, NC and that was nice as well. My husband and I ALWAYS stayed at Holiday Inn Express when we traveled, but he is no longer here so I don’t travel as much.

It is one of the best properties I have ever stayed. 10 minutes from the FLL airport. Super spacious for my family of 5.. The bathroom was super comfortable and clean. You can see that the property has been thru a remodel recently. The staff was super friendly. Went above all our expectations. I will defenetly be staying at this property again.

Upon arrival, the staff at the front desk was rude and inconsiderate. When asked if they hold our bags due to not being able to check in quite yet and just getting off a cruise, they immediately said no due to no space. No problem, except while waiting we watched them take two families bags and when asked why they couldn’t take ours they didn’t/wouldn’t answer. It was incredibly frustrating. They were short and appeared we were inconveniencing them just by being there. It made the experience disappointing.

Positives - We stayed here the night before and night after our cruise in 509 and 105. Despite being right across from the elevator and next door to the breakfast room, both were quiet and large. The staff was very generous both times in regards to issuing late checkouts when we checked in. Waffle House on one side of the hotel and Wawa was on the other. These were highlights for our CA family. Negatives - Despite knowing there would be 4 people in the room, we had to return to the front desk during both stays to get bedding for the sofa bed. A lot of construction is happening (Dec 2022), so the property isn’t the most attractive right now.
