Shangri-La Springs

The Hotel was everything I expected. An older, but renovated residential experience. I felt just like a family member coming home. Pleasant registering personnel. The lobby was clean and very quaint. Rooms were outside of the main entrance surrounded by great Florida landscaping.

A hidden gem!! If you’re looking to disconnect from the world this is a place to go. There is no Internet, Wi-Fi on your personal phone is slow. But well worth it!! We pretty much had the place to ourselves. Staff was warm and welcoming! The rooms were super comfortable! They have a pool which was confusing in the pictures but it is not open to the public it is a natural spring that is not treated, but the beach is about 10 minutes away. The grounds are beautiful on top of the fact that it is a historical property. I wish we got to enjoy it a little more but unfortunately it was just way too hot to be outside the weekend we went. I would not bring kids to this property it is more of a retreat to relax nothing to do for children. I definitely would go back again
