Residence Inn by Marriott Norwalk

All was great. People were lovely. Would like a magnified mirror in the bathroom…maybe I missed it…stayed a week for my son’s wedding. Our room was perfect for small family gatherings. Walkable to to many places. Especially the Maritime aquarium !

Family friendly. Easy to navigate. Room wasn’t ready at check in. That was disappointing with three kids. Otherwise everything else has been good.

The staff told my husband and I on 3 separate occasions that we would be able to check out early with no penalty as long as we gave 24 hrs notice. We gave them notice and now we are being charged the remainder of the stay. The staff was extremely rude about it and denying that they ever told us that. They did not look into our reservation at all and now it's somehow our fault. The hotel did not have a safe and sanitary area to be able to take my kids out to a restaurant. There were police arresting people right outside of the hotel, it was noisy, could not see out of the windows, dusty, and water all over the bathroom due to the shower system they have. It has become a nightmare ever booking with them.

Absolutely the worst night sleep ever in a Marriott hotel! The room above me had children and they were running and jumping all night and when I complained to the hotel staff nothing was accomplished!! The staff seemed to side with the noisy room.

Best located hotel in Norwalk. Steps from the South Norwalk train station and literally around the corner from many excellent restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms are spacious - great if you're working or staying w/ family. There is an ample free breakfast and a nice little happy hour, both of which you can enjoy next to the fireplace in the lobby. On-site parking. The only downside for us was that the Internet was not full-speed. We were here for work, and that was a bit of glitch.
