EVEN Hotel Norwalk, an IHG Hotel

When I walked into my room there was a wet stain on the floor and dirty carpet from the previous person. I picked this hotel bc of the game room for my kids but they didn't have one. The bikes pictured were not there. They have a bar but never sure they have a bartender there to serve you. Everything listed for this hotel was missing. The gym was nice

Thankfully, it is not child friendly (no pool specifically). Overall, this appears to be a traveling worker hotel. However, there are several problems with the setup. 1)Frosted glass door for bathroom, NOT GOOD. It doesn't seal for sound and although frosted you still can see 'images' of what's going on in there. AND the shower is clear, so nobody can use the toilet while someone is in the shower. This alone would be a reason not to stay again. 2) Single coffee machine, long wait if more than 2 people there. 3) No real bar or restaurant onsite, and nothing in walking distance to hotel. 4) Limited clothes space, no hanging hooks for coats, etc. in doorway. 5) On checkin we were given keys to an occupied room, computer allowed front desk to assign keys to a new renter, should have had it locked out from doing that. AND next room had A/C unit sounded like a diesel, so on to room 3, it was fine.

I would not book this hotel in any state if the rooms are all the same, I booked this stay with my daughter and her boyfriend and let me tell you even a family would be uncomfortable with the room/bathroom conditions the bathroom faces the 2 beds with a sliding glass frosted door and a clear glass shower door, um nope not happening again - pics for your viewing pleasure, I ask why just what was the designer thinking no dad wants to pull his pants down to poop with a frosted view for his daughter - just insane!! Hung sheets to help, but no sound barrier at all either

Clean, comfortable bed, good overall set up. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet (that you pay extra for) is very limited. Not the worst, but something to be aware of. I'd stay here or put family up here again👍

I extended my stay here after a tournament. When I checked in Friday afternoon, I asked if I would be able to stay in the same room despite having 3 different reservations. I was told, "Yes." At 12:09 on Sunday afternoon, I received a rude call from the front desk telling me that I no longer had the room I was in and that I needed to get all my items out because a room block was coming and they needed my room. When I told the lady on the phone, who was the same lady I spoke to on Friday, that she said everything would be fine, she snapped back and said they just realized they were double booked and that I could move my family of 4 to a king room and get an air mattress, that it wasn't her problem and that I just needed to move my stuff. When I asked to speak to a manager, she hung up. I called about an hour later and spoke to the manager and explained the rude call. I told him I was cancelling my reservation and he was in agreement that I should not have been spoken to like that. When I arrived back to the hotel to get my items and go to a different hotel, the manager again apologized but said he shouldn't even be there because it was his day off. He also said he would take care of cancelling the charges which it looks like he didn't do.

We had a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable for our family of 4. The only downside is the air conditioner unit was very close to one of the beds. I am not sure if all the rooms are like that. We had an accessible room that might be cut differently. Not a huge deal. Still a great stay and we would stay again.

I met with Antony on the front desk, he is so helpful and nice. Everyone was like a family on such short visit

Thanksgiving, family members (6) all stayed at EVEN HOTELS, NORWALK, CT. Wonderful hotel, great staff, location, dining and bar/lounge! Excellent accommodations! We have stayed numerous times, always extremely pleased!

First, the concierge was less than friendly. She gave us our room and the room was clearly used and never cleaned. Sheets thrown all over a dirty bed and pillows on floor. We asked for a room change. They didn’t have a king we reserve so stuck with two queens. Second, if you like the idea of used gym equipment in your hotel room, this is the place for you. Nothing like sleeping around gym equipment. Had I know all of this would be in our room, right near the bed, I never would have booked it. Third, the walls are paper thin. We heard kids and a baby crying all morning.

My family and I love the hotel it was superb
