Hilton Garden Inn Norwalk

Ok hotel big and busy beds were comfortable and room was fine just very very basic and lacking any personality! Hallways need updating as does rooms but tv was good and the air was nice and cool. For one night it was fine. I thought I would swim but pool was much smaller than the pics and of course was packed w kids, oh well! I feel like I paid to much for a dates hotel!

It was very cold an snowing but the kids enjoyed the pool an hot tub. The room was very clean will definitely return this summer. Receptionist was nice, check in was smooth. No line etc. didn’t get to try the food or beverages will do next time. Thank you!

We booked a room at the Hilton to make it easier during my child’s swim meet. The room we stayed had a plumbing issue. The moment we entered, we noticed a smell but I couldn’t pinpoint the problem. On the next day, we noticed the horrible smell was a lot stronger when we were leaving to the meet in the morning. By the time we returned to our room later in the day, the smell was unbearable. We were nauseated. The whole room smelled like poop and so did our clothing which was left in the room. I spent the evening doing laundry in the hotel trying to get rid of the smell from our clothing. When we brought our concern to the front desk, we were offered Febreze instead of another room. Apparently Hilton solves plumbing issues with Febreze. I am still in shock in how the situation was handled or more accurately, not handled at all. What was meant to be a comfortable time before my child’s event turned to a nightmare and we are still disgusted and sleep deprived from it.

Room was very large, which was great for our family of 4.

Hi. I usually don’t respond, though I felt I needed to as I will not be staying here again. The shower head was horrible. The shower was selected, though water was coming out of the head as gushing as well as the tub faucet. M One of the tiles in the room was damaged. Most of the tile remained, but was very sharp. A loose piece was laying there as well. Visible as soon as you opened the door. If I had a toddler, I would have requested another room. There was a knock on our door around 8:30/8:45 am, I opened it, and the staff member said oh I put a note on your door for no service. He said checkout is at 12 pm. A few minutes later there was another knock. I was getting up and the door opened. I said why are you opening the door, she said oh sorry. I said there was a hanging note on the door from a staff member a few minutes ago. I shut the door.

Have stayed at Hilton Garden Inn several times & its perfect to visit family in area. We are never disappointed!

Nice place. Clean and as expected. If you want breakfast, pre-buy. It's expensive. The pool was chilly. Little kids didn't seem to mind but my tweens were not going to stay in long. It's difficult to take a left out of the lot in heavy traffic hours, but left is the way to the highway. Stayed one night for a local field hockey tournament. Would stay again.
