The Taber Inne & Suites

The Inn was amazing would highly recommend- it is family run - very helpful and knowledgeable.

The room was ok but the decor is a little dated and not to our liking and we were not the most comfortable there as a family of 4. The bathroom blind didn’t work well and no obscure glasses never felt totally private having a shower after dark so had one with the lights off. The grounds of the hotel were nice and location was ok with only a 20 minute walk into town. The guy on reception was very helpful and friendly. We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on that.

Staff very pleasant, close to restaurants, very clean, close to mystic aquarium and seaport. Would stay again when visiting Mystic with family.

We went for a family getaway and it was amazing. Clean, spacious and close to everything you need to visit in Mystic. The indoor pool was a plus especially since it's cold in April.

Terrific little place -- like an old family inn -- the kind we all wish were still around but can't seem to find -- this is it! Highly recommended!

The Taber Inne was a fantastic place to stay in Mystic! We were given a rundown of all the holiday happenings in Mystic at check-in and got suggestions for dinner. The room was immaculate and the bedding was soft and warm. Don’t skip out on the in-room coffee and pastries! We asked for some extra fruit for our toddler and not only did we get that, but they also brought him his own orange juice. We didn’t get to try the indoor pool - but it is heated and open year round. Overall, cannot be happier with our stay!

Beautiful place! The staff is incredibly nice and so helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. We stayed in a deluxe queen room which had a memory foam mattress, and a giant jacuzzi tub. It was so quiet and peaceful, even with the train running behind it. The description mentioned soundproof rooms and they weren't kidding. We had no idea there was a train going by until we happened to be on the deck when one whizzed by! We walked to downtown- a really wise option on such a busy weekend when parkling and traffic was challenging. It was about a 15 minute walk, all flat. Mystic Market is directly across the street and has great sandwiches, salads and soups. Just be aware that there isn't a mini fridge or microwave in the room (at least in our specific room. The property has many different types of accomodations.) We brought a cooler and took advantage of the free ice (and bags for ice! Bonus!) to keep some drinks cold and to stash leftovers. The complimentary breakfast brought to your room is fantastic, too. We got a cup of coffee for each of us, an awesome muffin and a piece of coffee cake, plus bananas and clementines. So great! There is a really nice indoor pool, as well, and they offer complimentary bikes. Everything was so clean and inviting. I highly recommend staying here!

What a great place! Highly recommend- so nice, super clean everywhere. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Conveniently located. Pretty landscaping and flowers. Loved that they brought you continental breakfast right to your room. Just loved the Taber Inne. So many room options too. Can accommodate families very easily. Indoor pool looked great. Didn’t use it but would be fun for families. Great place to stay when visiting Mystic Connecticut! Would love to stay there again.
