Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa

Fine for a quick stay in mystic with family. Indoor pool was nice to come back to after a hot day. Wish staff was more attentive, unable to get an extra pillowcase or suitcase trolly when requested.

We were in town for a family gathering and the convenience and location for us was perfect for our needs!

Beautiful property... well maintained. Excellent front desk experience... Helmsman Restaurant staff attentive and great food... Olivia is a gem!...however their housekeeping in guest rooms leaves much to be desired. We ordered room service for breakfast... 2 children, 2 adults.... alerted front desk that one of the beds linens got some food stains... returned to room 5 hours later... beds were made, soiled sheet was still on bed, floor still had crumbs from breakfast room service.... I don't understand how a bed was made with visible food stains, clearly mentioned to front desk prior to our leaving for the day. Perhaps the expectation was too high... I don't sleep on soiled sheets, and food crumbs that are quite visible on a dark tiled floor should've been vacuumed or swept... overall the pool was lovely, lobby welcoming and clean.... but housekeeping is a major part of hospitality.... otherwise I would definitely have rated 5 stars....

Great experience with family. Indoor pool was perfect for kids. The food however was very expensive and the bed needs some updating. The service was good, and location was perfect.

We stayed one night while visiting our family. The room was comfortable for the price. I liked that the room had a chaise lounger, which was comfortable for watching TV and just relaxing. We especially enjoyed morning breakfast, which we added with our reservation. It requires a voucher, which we didn't receive at check-in, so we had to get that from the front desk in the morning. The bar was great for an afternoon snack and drink. I would definitely recommend if you need a home base in the area. You will need your car as it is not walkable to popular areas in Mystic. This was not a concern, as it was off season and it was a quick Uber ride into town.

First, we were placed in a room that welcomed us with strong smell of marijuana. The front desk switched us to a 3rd floor room with a view of a rooftop while the hotel is surrounded by nature. I was told that they can not give us a better room because I booked it via a 3rd part (Expedia!!!. I spent close to $800 for 3 nights before taxes. Asked for a quiet location for the room - we were surrounded with children running around in the hallway. We can also hear children speaking very clearly across the hall while their room door was closed. Very disappointed.

My daughter recommended this hotel and I can see why. The property was beautiful and elegant! Everyone was so nice and professional. The food was on point delicious! Only sad point I wished I could’ve stayed longer! I would definitely return again and would highly recommend my friends and family to stay here.

Room was not ready for 3 pm check in. We were told that we would be given a 5th floor room with a nice view, and we would get a call when it was ready - so we went into Mystic. The call never came. We went back to the front desk later that evening and were given a room on the 2nd floor. The gentleman who took our luggage was beyond helpful and gracious - thank you! Breakfast was slightly short of chaotic with a 30 minute wait - it would have helped if couples were not given tables for four, and families were left waiting because there were only tables for two available! Having said that, once seated, the wait staff were really excellent.

Very noisy with kids running around. Room was to be ready at 4 and we did mot get a room until 5:15

When first arriving to our room, I went into the bathroom and noticed a very large clump of someone’s hair (not mine).. which was gross. I also will say that the shower, was not the cleanest.. there were obvious spots in the shower that had mold/mildew on them. Our view from our room… well, it was the industrial-looking part of the roof. Not the greatest. The walls are thin, and we could hear other guest’s kids running and yelling through the halls early in the morning. Otherwise, it was a good stay.
