WE loved the close proximity to the fabulous hot springs pool right across the street. they also offer a very cheap price to visit the hot springs. Tons of local shopping, restaurants ( delicious) and even galleries in close walking distance. The staff were all friendly and helpful, eager to make our stay great! Continental breakfast was nice. We also love that the hotel is still family owned and NOT part of a chain. the level of caring and service really shows that. Steamboat is soooo beautiful!

Had dangerous sickness in family and hotel and hotels.com would not refund my money. Am considering not using hotels.com again as well as will never recommend it stay at Rabbit ears!

Great stay at a family run Motel. Rooms are clean and facilities well maintained. Front staff was great on check in and equally friendly on check out. Don’t expect modern rooms but the WiFi is strong enough to Netflix or work on a spreadsheet. Beds are comfortable enough, pillows could use an upgrade they’re pretty soft. Will stay there again, Rabbit Ears has become my go to in Steamboat.

First time staying at Rabbit Ears Motel, but we will be back! Location is amazing, we walked to the rodeo and farmer’s market. The rooms are perfect for a family getaway, and the discounted tickets for the hot springs (across the street!) are a fabulous benefit. We ❤️ the Rabbit Ears!

Love this little Steamboat gem. I went here as a kid in the late 80s and have fond memories. I love that it isn’t a ritzy Steamboat place. It’s perfectly cozy and charming.

Comfortable and cozy for my family and dog, the staff was super friendly, offered their input and advice on local apres ski activities and dining, very kind and welcoming to us. The rooms are clean, exactly as advertised during the booking process. Everything about the property is simple, cozy, and low maintenance, meaning that all we thought about was skiing and enjoying the area with our dog after skiing. Bike/walking trails outside your door, the Yampa flows along part of the property, and a 4 minute drive brings you to Fish Creek which our dog loved. Definitely make time for the old town pool as well as strawberry park hot springs. Rabbit Ears knows exactly what they’re doing, they do it well and provide their guests with a wonderful, feel good experience
