Holiday Inn Steamboat Springs, an IHG Hotel

This is a decent place especially for the location and the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hot tubs were clean and hot. There were a couple things that kept this from being a 5 star. 1st was upon arrival there were a handful of cigarette butts left on the balcony from a previous guest. Not a huge deal, I just didn't want to get the blame for them, and 2nd was the water pressure in the shower was pretty weak. Overall, I would stay here again and even recommend to friends and family.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Steamboat. The place had everything you need for a ski weekend at a good price. It’s not ski in / ski out but the rooms have comfy beds, there’s 2 hot tubs and a pool and they have a shuttle to the lifts. Bonus there is a restaurant on site.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The accommodations for transportation to the slopes not only made things convenient, but we also saved money from not having to pay for parking at the slopes. there were two hot tubs open during our March stay and they were both large and kept nice.

I love the friendly family feeling of this hotel it’s very organized but they have hotel pets that are there that are the employees pets which is really cool and they meet you every need their restaurant that’s attached is fantastic and they give you free breakfast to go along and just a wonderful time for family and they have a great pool too

We enjoyed the indoor pool as a family.

Very nice staff, clean rooms, smelled nice, fresh carpet in hallways. Ample parking near side doors close to room and elevator. As always, this hotel chain delivered and we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, indoor pool was frigid. We couldn’t even get in without shivering. Although we got voucher for free kids meal at attached restaurant, it was full with a long wait on a Tuesday night and basically a loud rowdy bar full of people, not great for kids. Also, very expensive and poor service once we were able to get a seat the next evening.

I had a wonderful weekend trip to Steamboat with my granddaughters. The staff was great! I received a text from the manager before my stay asking if he could do anything, which I thought was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and hottub were clean and fun for the kids. The indoor hottub is connected to the pool. So at times not too relaxing. Also the jets in the jacuzzi were weak and not very good for achy muscles. They were out of towels when we got there, and I used the phone there and they sent some down withing about 5-10 minutes. We had breakfast in the restaurant on site, which was good. All the food in Steamboat seems to me to be "pricey". We took a trip to Strawberry Park Hot Springs, and it was so beautiful. We took their shuttle and asked for extra time, which they gave us, but ended up not charging us for. (Don't know if it was a mistake or kindness, but it made me happy). When we unloaded in the room, my granddaughter had wrapped up sandy, shoes which got all over the carpet. I found the maintenance guy working on the washers and asked if I could use a vacuum, since our room was already cleaned. He said he would bring one in a few minutes, which he did. He did all the vacuuming and had a wonderful, respectful attitude while doing it. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We checked in with Tammy who made us feel right at home. She gave us free meal coupons for our kids and great information on fun things to do.
